Bruh..am I just out of touch...but I swore Toy Story was Pixar's biggest franchise. How is it not going to do better than Incredibles 2? Franchise fatigue?

People were waiting for incredibles 2 for like 10 years.

I know alot of people were confused as to why toy story 4 even exist since the last one ended perfectly, some seen it as a unnecessary cash grab. It'll do great when word of mouth spreads that this movie is just as good as the first 3.

I'm watching Toy Story 1 in preparation for tomorrow. That one scene where Buzz's begins to take over Woody's world hits hard. Seeing old friends disappear after the many years that you've been with them. I used to think it was funny but now I feel for Woody in that scene now.

Gonna make the biggest opening they ever had but still "below expectations".

Incredibles 2 took years to drop, which built anticipation. Toy Story 4 is just that. The FOURTH entry. And it still made more first weekend than Toy Story 3 did.

Imo they didn’t. My order is 1>3>2=4 rn. But I still have 2 and 4 towards the top of Pixar, and my personal list of movies. Just 1 and 3 are in that top tier of all movies All 4 great movies, what a series

Toy Story 4/4 in the great movie department.

With Woody leaving the gang, which I suspected was going to happen, you would think this is the final chapter. But I feel the franchise makes too much bank and quality movies for them to not do a part 5

Or at least more shorts and specials. But it’ll be interesting to see how they make them going forward now that the gang is split.
