Good ideaDamn wanting to be in the 1930s is wild... Might as well cop a horse cuh.
If you’ve driven a luxury vehicle in the last 4 years you’d know the problem with capacitive buttons
It happened to me once when I had a chik-fil-a fry during a road trip and I never wanted to use that touch screen in the Benz ever again. It was a new E class too about 2 years ago.I tend to use napkins
I think it’s a good design because you can use the touch screen under like 5 miles per hour I think.I hate the non-touch screen in my mazda. Have to use the little knob for everything and it causes more distractions because I have to pay attention to the screen to see what’s hi-lighted before I select.
I realized this when my mom who was at the time mid 60s got a new Benz and didn’t know how to do ANYTHING in it. And this was like 4 years ago.

Rear camera display is the one thing I'd say is lacking. That shyt is a game changer.

On a side note, up until 2020 my ride had manual rollup windows. Nephews and nieces where fascinated by them.
