Touch screens in cars was a bad idea. They’ve gone TOO far

I hate the non-touch screen in my mazda. Have to use the little knob for everything and it causes more distractions because I have to pay attention to the screen to see what’s hi-lighted before I select.

Yeah after having a car with a large touch screen for everything for a few years, that shyt is terrible. Gotta take my eyes off the road to adjust the temp is my biggest pet peeve.

I have CarPlay and buttons on my steering wheel. I don’t have to touch the screen too much. It shouldn’t be a problem because what are you doing while driving where you need to touch the screen so much?

It happened to me once when I had a chik-fil-a fry during a road trip and I never wanted to use that touch screen in the Benz ever again. It was a new E class too about 2 years ago.

I think it’s a good design because you can use the touch screen under like 5 miles per hour I think.

It takes less time to SEE where you want the cursor to be than to point your finger at the cursor.

I realized this when my mom who was at the time mid 60s got a new Benz and didn’t know how to do ANYTHING in it. And this was like 4 years ago.

they got a s63.. they drove it home with the plastic on the screeens .. plastic on the floor mats.. etc and put that bytch up til i came in town...then we literally went step by step how to do shyt ...8am to 8pm... now u cant tell none of the battlelacks nothin now

drove from houston to dallas.. my mom drive she wanna turn all around n shyt talkin to us... and dad get wheel on the way back he doin the same shyt..

It's facts that auto accidents have increased because drivers are more distracted with touch screens in the car. Also the cost to replace the screens are through the roof.

I like Mazda's that have a small screen. Good enough size for need

Maybe even their more modern ones where it's wider. But doesn't look obnoxious
