Anybody got the OG version of this album with the original samples in it? PM me.

On the new version, about 85% of the samples and lyrics have been changed or redone. Went to listen to Most High in the gym and noticed the whole album hit different.

YouTube, Soundcloud, Apple Music etc all have the new versions up, so not only does the album sound weaker, but son lost hundreds of millions of plays, views, etc across all platforms.

You can’t even Google an article about the samples changing, it’s like they wiped the whole internet of any mention of a previous version existing. I understand sample clearance issues but this is next level blackballing...

So I hear they redid most of the songs due to clearance issues.

Let this be a lesson to all you bragging about your streaming services, you still dont own that music and it can disappear from spotify at a moment's notice

ALL my music is offline and I never have to worry about not being able to access any version of a song I already downloaded. I downloaded that OG version first few hours it came out :ahh:

The people that want the OG can still download it and add it to their streaming service :dahell:

What the point of paying when you still gotta go download it? What happens when they decide to remove some albums from the streaming services?

My point is, be in control of your music. Downloads >>>>> streaming.

On top of that, I can always access my music remotely using a music player that supports it.

You pay money for 50 million songs for one second away, not one album.
Instead of needing to steal the 50 million songs, you only need to steal Tory Lanez OG version if that's important for you.

10 bucks per months ain't nothing to me, my time is too valuable to spend it on stealing music, connecting phones, finding the correction versions and shyt. :yeshrug:

I don't what you point was, but your words was that people who maintain a streaming account are restricted from stealing music :mjlol:

The version you sent me (below) isn’t the original version. only two of the songs are the originals. Most of the others are the ones on streaming services now. You can’t even find the actual original on Google.

There are real subtle changes and sample interpolations on the version that’s on streaming sites now. The version you have/sent only has the original What’s Kulture & Care For You, (which were the first two songs that were changed on streaming platforms that people noticed.) Every other song is from the current streaming version.

If you look at the modification dates of the files in the mega app, those two songs are from September 25th (the albums actual release date), while every other song is from September 30th, which is ironically the day most people started noticing differences in the album. Smh they really wiped the Internet of this shyt bro. I’ve never seen anything like it.

i used to audio engineer and produce so i know I’m not trippin, my ear is obsessive and picks up on the little subtle differences most dont. Blackballing effectively made this album not as good sonically as the original, it’s very watered down, and not just because of the sample changes. Some verses were re recorded too.

Everybody knows streaming services has its disadvantages, I’m 100% for downloading and owning.

But there’sa larger conversation to be had around this album and how crazy it is that blackballing (not JUST sample clearance issues) can ruin a good project.

Most of the samples would’ve been cleared had it not been for the case and cancel culture, as the producers/artists of the OG samples would’ve gotten PAID had the album been able to blow the way it should have. I’ve never seen anything like this.

i dont know brrh. I listened the evening it came out. From what i remember, they all sound the same except care for you and what's kulture. Everything else sounds the same to me. Could you point out the changes you noticed?

I did notice the video version of In the Air sounds different (maybe a different louder hi-hat and maybe faster?)
