In all fairness, some of these songs, the Chris Brown, Trey Songz, The Dream, are an era of R&B that I never followed, like the mid 2000's, going into 2010, just never connected with it as much. So, the late 90's, early 2000's tracks are always better to me, for the nostalgia, like on Chixtape 4 & 3, 'You Got It Worse", "N.A.M.E", "Came 4 Me", "Walked Out", "Slow Grind", "1 Call", those were stronger than any of these. They had a natural feel to them, and were true to the original, with slightly more contemporary lyrics.

I really liked some of the older ChixTape's, especially 4, but I think Tory hit his peak with that, and "Luv" in 2016, I haven't heard much that I liked since than. I gave this a quick run through, I'm right in the demographic to love this, these songs are all what I grew up on, for the most part, and it's clear he put a lot of effort into this, most of it didn't really work for me, on a first listen. Maybe it sounds too forced, or he didn't pick the right songs, or the right ways to flip them. And it could be that creatively he did this as good as the formula could get earlier in his career.

You mean that type of sound ? If so his song with Jaquees is prime Tory
