at what point during listening to a Tory Lanez album do you realize you have the same taste in music as a millennial white girl?

I really liked some of the older ChixTape's, especially 4, but I think Tory hit his peak with that, and "Luv" in 2016, I haven't heard much that I liked since than. I gave this a quick run through, I'm right in the demographic to love this, these songs are all what I grew up on, for the most part, and it's clear he put a lot of effort into this, most of it didn't really work for me, on a first listen. Maybe it sounds too forced, or he didn't pick the right songs, or the right ways to flip them. And it could be that creatively he did this as good as the formula could get earlier in his career.

idk if its the way the samples had to be flipped in order to be sold as an album, but its just not hitting like chixtape 3/4 did for me. its still good (3.5 maybe 4ish) but tory might have hit the ceiling going this route like you said. none of the songs really hit me crazy and had me questioning if it could possibly be better than the original. even summer walker and usher remake of you make me wanna on her album was better than anything on this. thats not to say that there isnt fire on the album regardless (jerry sprunger, love sounds, thoughts, blowin mines).

maybe im tripping and i need to sit down with this for a bit before rating it but just off first listen, it isnt fukking with chixtape 3 or 4.
