QM in his letter said he started working with Drake during winter 2014. In another post I posted Drake using "6" on an Instagram post in March 2014. Drake did give Quentin miller credit on IYRTITL. Not only did he get credited he was in the thank you note. The only song QM wrote on that he didn't get credit was Rico.

it's not because of 416 or 647 area codes.

drake says he got it from Jimmy and jimmy said himself thats where he got it from

In early March, a photo of Toronto featuring the CN Tower was posted to the rapper’s official Instagram account, @Champagnepapi, accompanied by the caption, “I miss the 6!!! #Toronto #JimmyPrimeNamedIt #The6 #Home #SummerInToronto #Paradise.”

Jimmy Prime, also known as Jimmy Johnson, is a local Toronto rapper who released his first album, In God We Trust, earlier this year. The first record from the project, “Pray,” debuted on record company October’s Very Own’s website in late March. The company is co-owned by Drake.

The 9-track EP makes multiple references to the latest city slang.

“As I view The 6 from my balcony, I pray to God she’ll look out for me. My new religion this rapping things, because everything ain’t what it seems,” Johnson raps on the track “Don’t Stop.”

Drake’s got ‘The 6’ sense when it comes to branding the city | Toronto Star

If you find the first thread mentioning the album title Views from the 6 you'll find a #WallyWisdom post stating quite simply "Why are you idiots calling it the 6? :dahell:"

This just in at the Coli newsroom: the fake name that a rapper called a real city is actually fake. In other news, we hate Drake. More at 11

I don't know why these dudes in here keep insisting some no-name wack rapper named Jimmy came up with the term despite the lack of proof, and despite the fact Drake didn't start saying the "6" shyt till after meeting Quentin Miller. The Jimmy songs mentioning the 6 didn't come out until AFTER Drake released 6 God (which came out before IYRTITL) .. So stop with this Jimmy shyt....Is he a Coli poster? :mjlol: Is that's why you nikkas keep trying to put this random nikkas name into shyt?? :mjlol:

And let's say for instance Drake did get it from the Jimmy dude....it make no sense why a multi-millionire MEGA superstar would call his city "The 6" just because a no-name rapper did. That's like P.Diddy walking down the street and hearing a bum sitting on the corner calling Harlem "Mc Harley Har Har" so Diddy like "I'm calling Harlem Mc Harley Har Har" cause a Bum with no merit, credentials, or valid reasoning is calling my city that. :takedat:

Do yall nikkas realize how irrational that sounds?:mjlol:

If Drake says he got it from someone other than Quentin Miller, then that is smart on Drake's part for trying to divert attention away from his ghostwriter..... I see a few fools fell for it...... But Dates don't lie. :sas1:

This theory is starting to make more and more sense every day.

And BECAUSE of that....nikkas can't even get mad at Drake anymore, seriously. Cause he didn't make HIMSELF popular like this.
you should be mad at yourself you fell for the bait. the media did this after he paid his way into the game. No matter how much doe they put behind an artist to blow. we've all seen certain ones never blow. why not? because they dont catch on and people dont like them enough. this means no matter how strong the machine is/brand is. its only as strong as the stans who stan it. yall started to stan drake and since they told you he was the #1 hiphop newcomer(when he was doing 70% R&B) yall been stuck on stupid from that day til now. yall have been tricked from that day until now. and i said this in another thread. the reason drake was able to pull this off is the same reason rick ross didnt die out earlier after yall had knowledge that he was a CO and he STILLLL Denied it. We know everything in rap aint real. But when someone is busted read handed. own up. and keep it pushing. Nope. we got liars and mo liars. then they rapping to you about things that are completely counter to what they really are.

See there's one thing for nas or ice cube to talk about street nuccas and thugs even though they were not those dudes but they hung around them being from the same area. They could report on that street news. they are close enough to it. i have never banged, thugged, sold dope a day in my life. but i use to be a hood kid, so i knew what was going on in that gang nonsense, who shot who, who was going to go at who, who dont like who, i knew who was slanging what, and where, who had beef, who the cops were watching, etc. so i could tell those stories to in rap if i so well choose to.

The problem is when you have a Foreigner ladies and gentlemen. This dude drake aint even from here. Yall let a non American stroll all up in your house, read someone elses raps to you, half a.. sing the hooks and do those silly looking un swaggered moves he use to do on stage and yall ate it up. I told yall then. the dude sounded like an amateur in the beginning. maybe those were his own words back then. who knows. The only thing yall need to understand is this. the longer anyone does something they get better at it. so yeah eventually drake would have become a decent to solid rapper if he kept at it long enough. and thats exactly what you have now. his confidence is high, and his delivery is solid now. throw some beats underneath that and bam thats all this generation needs. a hot track and halfway decent flow. you're good. meaning you're wide open for any kind of lie these new artists are telling.

drake = pop singer.

but they keep trying to say drake falls under the rap/hiphop category. why? Rappers write most of their own raps. most rappers rap about their own life or someone close to them. pop singers dont write they are usually cute chicks/good lookin dudes who are spoon fed hit songs and given Top level producers who have made hits for all the greats. drake is no different. I'm darn near thinking about investigating the producer too. We may find out that he was a classically trained musician that can mimic any song that he hears. and he may just be doing what drake does with his raps/swag and doing the same on the music side. borrowing other producers Vibes, recreating their sound and knowing these dudes are so low level no one will ever know. see thats not he same as a dr dre organizing all the session musicians and producers to do things in his manner. thats one dude hi-jacking someones sound, upgrading it because he has that musical knowledge and then running with it as if it was all him. this may not be the case for 40. but i cant put nothing passed this OVO click at this point.
