People mostly vote either democrat or republican straight down the list. It will be tough to get elected if you don't have either one of those endorsements. So prepare to spend ALOT of money campaigning. If I were you I'd get involved with a church in your community and start from there. As far as support and fund raising, that will be your best bet. Let's be honest, you could go out into the black community and campaign but are they really giving money like that unless it's a church? Good luck breh

True breh, I was just watching the Tim Canova and Debbie Wasserman Schultz debate. Crazy part, she's ahead We have to be more active in voting. In my opinion, voting in the mid-term elections is the most important.

Like the other posters said bruh..The republicans dont even bother putting up posters in my area..once the democrat primary is done you may as well just call it...and since the incumbent has slowly gotten the party bosses on their side over the last term its almost impossible to unseat them.

The only way i see shyt ever changing is to get independents and third parties on the local level to start pulling those seats away from the big two

You need to hold fundraisers and meet these white people. Tell them that you will fight for their issues BUT instead of fighting for them, do what they do to us and do the exact opposite. The money is a huge hurdle, but even if you had the money you still cant buy into this club.

You are forgetting one thing, it's more of us than it is them. If we come and take our system back, so it can work for all we'd win. We need leaders that give a shyt. People like MLK, Malcolm, Shirley Chisholm, and etc.

I'm not forgetting that. But even when you have a groundswell movement that goes against the current bureaucracy, the FIRST thing that political opportunist do is co-opt it and use it for their own political advancement
