This ain't the gotcha you think it is, i didn't say no crime at all. Even then i wasn't referring solely to Canada per say (they seem wilder there) i said the west, euroupe and america they ain't known for crime at all it's just some smelly people taking our jobs type shyt.

I love that you only quoted one of the links, and it actually is a gotcha moment.

Literally one of the most wanted persons in Canada is an indian. They are known in BC, Ontario, and other parts of North America for running crime syndicates. They are gun and drug runners. They run smuggling operations easily because of their massive presence in trucking and logistics.

You don't know this because you haven't been paying attention or just haven't done a quick google search.

People who live around them are very versed on their criminal activity.

another NDP policy trudeau was forced to implement or risk losing the backing of the ndp

damn y'all really don't keep up with politics
Nope, this is NDP spin and not true. Program was introduced in Budget 2021 and they campaigned on implementing it on the last election they won in the Fall of 2021. You can find the platforms here: Compare the party platforms on these top election issues

Bringing down child care prices is by far his signature accomplishment and if he left politics after failing to expand their seat count in 2021, he would leave with a decent legacy in tact. Instead, he overstayed, and then focused on increasing immigration levels to address inflation and articifically maintain economic growth. Fatal error that may lead to destruction of LPC as a functioning party.

I don't dabble with that 6ixbuzz crap

2.5% of Canada’s population is Punjabi. Not just indian, but Indians from one province of India. Canada has the most Punjabi people in the world outside of Indra and Pakistan at around 1 million people.:francis: USA is 250k for reference, 1/4th our amount. So if you feel like Canada is getting out of control with ONE SPECIFIC TYPE OF INDIAN, you’re not crazy because it really is.

On top of that 30% of Canadian immigrants over the last 10 years or so are from India. 1/3 new Canadians every year is from one country.
Punjabis being the main group makes sense after seeing so many in Ontario

Brie is annoying but I saw this pop up

@JLova @MikelArteta @Malcolmxxx_23 @thatrapsfan

The gist is right but gets basic facts and motive wrong.

There was no new student visa introduced, the main difference is that they amended policy to allow international students to work on student visas during the pandemic, and eventually build a pathway to permanent residency and citizenship if they accumulated enough employment history.

So many new migrants, primarily Indians, realized this was an easy pathway to getting Canadian citizenship. In reality most had zero interest in education and saw this as easy loophole to get their papers. The colleges were accomplices in this given that they paid higher tuition rates.

At the same time, government greatly increased volume of temporary foreign worker visas, primarily for low skilled service industry work, that also accounted for huge population boom. In the end, this led to a huge shift in demographics and along with cost of living issues as well. Hence the inevitable Conservative majority government on the way.

Makes sense.

Has it been 4 million migrants since 2019?

Keep all that north of the border please.

I wonder what’s more of a “thing”

Migrant crisis here or what’s happened up there.
It's harder to tell in America because we have a native Hispanic community. Unless you're dealing with the Hispanics at home Depot or the Dominican Street walkers on the blade, it's very hard to tell the impact that our migrants have, relative to the native Hispanics.

You have a few outlier events like that apartment I complex in colorado, but other than that our migrants are pretty muted. It also helps that they genuinely do jobs locals dont want to do. In contadt, Indians in canada very quickly encroach on jobs the locals actually want .

Also, a big chunk of our migrants get their papers and become permanent residents or citizens quickly , whereas; a lot of the Indians in Canada are on non-resident visas such as student visas or transitory work visas. But I think this will probably change as the Indians in Canada become as entrenched as the Jamaicans did 30 years ago.
