IT is skilled work. Saying otherwise kinda proves the point of senior management wanting to bring in third world workers to devalue wages. Any job that you need multiple certifications for is skilled labor.
You are right IT is a skilled job, but we have many canadian citizens who can fulfill those rolls. The demand isn't that high, and it is already competitive in the IT world.

We don't need them.

This Trudeau shyt like Biden is sad to see

Many Canadians were happy when he came in. He was a young fresh choice, and his father had a decent reputation.

The Harper years were long... and Justin did a few good things, weed lol and overall a good look for Canada on the global stage

Overall I was happy up until about 2 years ago. His legacy is being rewritten and it's time to step down. Some of shyt prolly ain't even his fault, a lot of it is though, and yes-a lot of this is probably orchestrated hate campaigns... But if you live in a major city in Canada, even a smaller one, it's clear that things are looking very bad...

He was unwilling to even admit that until like 2 weeks ago

Super out of touch and tone deaf…. after the convoy the public was more worried about housing and inflation and the govt mostly ignored those issues for most of 2022

I might stop complaining about Democrats now. Y'all got it much worse when it comes to Politicians.
:mjlol:
They literally have no plan to remove these people.

Breh the IT field is saturated there are folks graduating who can't find jobs and even folks with years and years of experience who can't find. There is no shortage, hell STEM category no longer has its own draw for express entry

"I want to stay in Canada". :heh:

These motherfukkers are so fukking entitled. These guys aren't citizens, and are demanding rights that don't apply to them.

I have never seen people on visas behave like this anywhere.

Who is blowing up their heads to think they have a right to stay here?

lol I'm going to Uganda next week, imagine me complaining that when my visa is expiring that I demand to stay. They'd arrest me and have me on the first plane out.

Tbh incompetence at all levels. And it is not just in matters of Defence, Foreign Affairs
Everywheee from municipalities to the useless to the governor general

governments can’t even handle even the most basic of projects, like bridges in any of their cities :dead:
political, judicial, and electoral systems are so inherently flawed it’s crazy

We got so many useless officials in every riding is crazy
political, judicial, and electoral systems are so inherently flawed it’s sad..and don’t even get me started on the corruption

they l don’t mind living 10 to a house. Drives up home price when you can combine 10 incomes at $35k/year. Same with rent

They need to start cracking down

When shyt hits the fan, they will leave. Thry have an exit plan. Guess who will be footing the bill?

Oh I definitely agree. I was simply arguing that IT is skilled labor, not that Canada has to import foreigners to do the job. I’m sure there’s plenty of Canadians that can do it just like we have plenty of Americans that can do those jobs down here. It’s skilled work but it’s not like you’re building rockets.

lol a lot of industries besides IT are hurting and we are seeing it in realtime

Toronto isn't that expansive or innovative in tech so there's a smaller pool to apply for tech-based jobs. A lot of Indians are programmers, engineers, devs, IT etc. and introducing them to an already crowded field is gonna cause an issue with them along with home-based talent

Toronto is like the neighbour's backyard pool but with 1000 nikkas asking to go swimming

The country is already ran into the ground :mjlol:
Even liberals want trudeau gone, please tell me teh good things justin trudeau has done?
He expanded dental care and pharmacare, implemented child care benefits, introduced carbon tax, gave more funding to provinces for transit, and had a really good pandemic policy by giving people money and increasing immunization rates.
