Accurate. This season was great. Interesting to see where Season 4 goes with certain characters.Nah, Jamie's Michael if he actually rose up the ranks in Marlo's crew

Yeah definitely. I put on at least like 5 people. Told them it was like the English version of the wire or City of God. Also said put on subtitles.
Subtitles? Really?
I understood brehs fine, but I do have fam in London and I’ve been to LDN bunch of times so I guess I have a “trained” ear to their accents. Also exposed to a lot British culture because of soccer and music so that may be part of it.
I have recommended that people put subtitles on the help catch some of the nuances and such. Some of the characters like Cam have a strong accent and speak quickly. Plus some of the slang is not familiar to Americans. Saying things like “bare”, “you lot”, “allow it” are terms we don’t use.
True thing on the slang.
They can be picked up easily though. Context clues helps.
Funny thing is a lot of British slang has made it’s way to Nigerian slang so I was able to pick up on “man dem”, “bare”, “allow it” and “wasteman”.

The more interesting thing is how most of that slang comes from Jamaican slang. Except for wasteman. Hell they even say “wah gwan”.
