We were arguing about the Scottish accent not being the same as a British accent. Which it is not and that's a fact.
What are you talking about?

You keep confusing britain and english as if theyre the same thing, britain isnt england, britain is the island.

What i said is scotland is a country in britain so same way england and wales are in britain all three are british countries.

Is this the third season of the series from a long time ago? I remember watching it but no finishing it. Can I still watch it without knowing what happened prior?

Yes, but you'll enjoy it more if you know the back story first. Go back and watch the first two seasons, Netflix has them anyway and it's only 4 episodes to a season

Not sure if it’s been said yet, but salute to the producer for having this continue in real time even if it meant abandoning the cliffhanger & story from season 2, it was the best thing he coulda done, trying to continue from that exact point while shooting in London 7 years ahead would just be weird.

I can't have people calling Dushane a monster. If he's a monster what does that make Sully or Modie? Or even Jamie for that matter. The whole events of the season were kicked off by
an act of a moral intervention by Dushane, which was totally selfless and one which he knew would put him and his family in Jamaica in immediate danger. If he was such a monster why would he risk his life and those of his family's to save, as Sugar called her, a useless old woman?

Not to even mention his looking the other way over Jaq's insubordination and what her sister did, or all the shyt he did in the first two seasons

Out of all the gangsters we've seen in the show, Dushane easily has the most consistent and the strongest sense of a conscience and morality

It's like Avon Barksdale who did some good but he still got several nikkas in jail killed by poisoned drugs just to get early release for him and D and got people killed in season one to tie up loose ends. He might not have been an outright monster like Marlo but he was still a scumbag.

Dushane and Sully are still scumbags. :yeshrug:

Nobody in the drugs game is a good person, you wont survive it if you're good. What I was talking about was people in the thread saying that Dushane was the most morally bankrupt character in the show, which I dont think is true at all. For a drug dealer he has a pretty strong moral compass
