No. I'm saying that people not taking this seriously is why the media doesn't scrutinize the stories as heavily as they should and why so many people don't want to bring the hammer down on these predatory teachers.I especially can't stand adult men saying how "lucky" the kid is without thinking of the long term psychological effects it can have. Many teenagers and underage people who engage in sexual relationships with older people end up having a warped perspective of love and can't stay faithful in relationships. And let's not even go into how these relationships further widen the gender gap between men and women in scholastic achievement.

basically u are saying media persuasion affects court rulings. but thats the courts problem....why would u shift the blame to the reaction of the people thru media? Isnt there a ;lady holding a scale in front of the court which represents justice? what does media being disorderly have to do with a court system thats is supposed to be fair, balanced and objective? u should focus the blame on the court system and not the peoples reactions to such incidents.

Married mother Ethel Anderson, 31, was told she was a 'parents' worst nightmare,' on Monday as she was jailed in Tampa, Florida. Judge Chet Tharpe told Anderson in court that she manipulated the boy's parents into believing he was safe and groomed the child for sex. Anderson was charged with nine counts of molesting a student after it was discovered that she was having sex with a boy who was 12-years-old at the time.
I don't have much sympathy for her but 38 years
