I love time travel movies...id even say that 4 are in my top ten all time (bttf,t1&2,looper) and two more are just out my top ten in the sequels to BTTF. Now i guess ill add another that I didnt see mentioned (although it did post date the time this thread was made)

For such an interesting subject there are very few good movies about it. I guess it’s too controversial for Hollywood.

Because time travel movies usually aren’t about an evil villain.

There’s an obstacle but it’s ultimately time travel itself that’s the problem.

So it’s almost always falls on the character writing and actor playing to make the audience emotionally connect.
