anyone can do cashier and bank teller jobs

the school district I went to the starting pay was $35k and I'm sure it's gone up since then. it's public record you can look up teacher's salaries - hell you can look up any state employee.

Regardless these people hate their jobs and other than teacher I would honestly feel like a failure in these occupations :manny:

35k is nothing like a rack a month maybe after bills and taxes

Think about it if you teach in a large city like NYC, a few years on the job you making about 65K, you get a little year-round side hustle whether it's selling sneakers or whatever, one of my teachers in high school worked for a non-profit as a "college advisor" over the summer, run an after school program or pick up a position as a dean or some type of administrator and marry or get with a shorty that produces money herself you could be living pretty comfortably.

And like I said on most days you gonna be out by 3, weekends off to do whatever you want, not to mention all of the holidays and vacations. Really other than occasional grading and lesson planning you'll be free to chill :manny:

I know some people who work for UPS and say it's one of the worst jobs ever. Personally I thought it would be a good summer job since all you do is deliver packages and drive around. But they said they be lifting boxes most of the day, and if you're a rookie you might have to clean other people's UPS trucks.

:deadrose: biggest mistake people make when they thing about teachers, my girl a teacher, been one for 4 years now , her schedule is pretty much 7am-6pm everyday, with one about 25 min break a day , not counting class prep and grading work she does on the weekends , and the "summer" off is really only about 6-8 weeks which is not the "3 months" everyone thinks they get

trust me this summed it up perfectly, and as far as the salary my girl makes almost about the same but after insurance, union fee etc she barely bringing in above 30k

People are so ignorant about this. From now on whenever I see a poster say that a teacher's work day ends at 3 they getting put on ignore :snoop:
I worked in the main office as a senior in high school, I saw several teachers punch in a 7:30ish and be out the building by no later than 3:02 unless they wanted to tutor, or were in charge of an after school program or the principal was having a meeting.

If what you mean is they still have to continue working at home with the grading and lesson plans, let's not act like that's everyday shyt. I don't know how your girl was working 7 to 6 PM, at 6 PM at my high school the janitors were out and the only teachers there were the ones who coached a sport and were running a practice or coaching a game. 25 minute break? Teachers get the entire lunch period off, that's 45-50 minutes not to mention the periods that aren't teaching no teacher teaches from 8-3 straight :what:

30K :wtf: where did she teach?
