Who were the babyfaces after the attitude era? Maybe they sucked as much as you claim triple h does.
First of all Triple H was given a vacant title, with no fight. Secondly guys like Rob Van Dam were fan favorites and he didn't get shyt but some dirty finish of Ric Flair helping HHH win. Chris Jericho was in Raw during those years, far better talent, don't remember a PPV in those years where he fought Triple HGH one on one for the title. Then the absolutely pathetic Kane Katie and HHH storyline. Kane got actually buried by HHH twice. The Katie angle and then unmasking after losing a fight. Never recovered from that. And Kane actually never really wanted a title run that much, but the way they disrespected his character in 2002/2003 was just sad and unnecessary.

Booker T was another guy who could've been given a W, after dragging him through that pathetic racist angle.

At least one of the guys I mentioned should've won a title. But none of them did.

From 2002 September to 2005 Wrestlemania only 4 wrestlers held the belt other than Triple H. Two of them were his friends. Shawn for a month and Randy for a month. The other two were Goldberg (who already lost momentum because Triple H beat him before already) and Chris Benoit, who instead of a duel against Triple H had to also go up against HBK in a triple threat match. So Hunter would give his buddy Shawn some shine for a Wrestlemania main event.

In nearly 3 years, HHH was holding a title for almost 2 years. How was anyone supposed to improve as a wrestler in that company back then?

I stopped watching for years cause of triple H. Anyone saying he was a big star is lying. 20 minute long winded opening promos is a meme for a reason.

See this was a discussion on promo quality and you allowed him to move the goalposts to Attitude Era vs Ruthless Aggression. You can't have a honest discussion with these types of people because anything can be used to justify a jaundiced viewpoint and they're incapable of even the idea of them being wrong.

Don't engage.:yeshrug:

You're literally doing what I just bolded in your comment: "hey ignore that guy with a different opinion, he's wrong, you're not".

I gave arguments of Triple H being overrated wrestler and his Attitude Era resume being overrated, because when the roster became weaker in next era, Ruthless Aggression era, he got exposed as someone who didn't draw good ratings and couldn't help the talent get better, unless it was his buddies. And even then he retained the title pretty quickly.

If you claim the guy is a great heel, then couple years later he gets a green light to be the top wrestler of Raw, and he's an utter dogshyt at that, then how was he a great wrestler to begin with? And since it was a discussion on promo quality, everybody knows Triple H promos were boring as hell and too damn long.

Anyway, this is a waste of time. Go keep watching those old 20 minute promos and same format Triple H matches of interference, DQ, pedigree and one two three count.

Was there a different Omos because how he make the list?
Well the list is for those that are “over” with the fans regardless of poor mic skills. When he comes out he gets a reaction. But his mic skills suck

Luger
Cesaro
Controversial but Razor/Scott Hall - All he did was say nonsense in a Cuban accent and make great physical mannerisms. He could get the crowd to the work for him because of some catchphrases.
Jeff Hardy and RVD as 4 & 5 - They were "probably" blitzed out of their minds.

I don't include the monsters because they're truly not supposed to talk because of their presence. They whoop ass in the ring and get out. Big Show, Mark Henry, Nash aren't the norm.
I gotta be honest, I never understood the Cesaro hype.

This Hall shyt is some revisionist history. Sure he had his catchphrases that he relied on, but he also had the crowds at Nitro eating out the palm of his hand every week, going batshyt booing him and throwing shyt in the ring. He was as over as anyone in the company and rarely wrestled, so he must have been doing something right on the mic. Hogan on the other hand, that was just a lot of fukking garbage promos. People loved the Outsiders, Hogan was cool only by association.

Special mention, Not including Bret Hart, since his mic skills were average to me and not below. Not great but not horrible either.

Nobody with any brain can say that 1997 HitGOAT was trash on the mic. His 1997 run on the mic was straight :ohlawd:
