Suggs is better now and will always be better. We could have had our point for the next 15 years but instead one stupid workout ?

Word exactly. Bargs looked like the second coming in SL. Look how that shyt turned out.

Suggs had a good debut though. But so did Barnes. I wonder how the narratives have been impacted by the way the games played out. Orlando’s game went to OT and needed a clutch performance which obviously is dope to look at. But our game was a blowout, much in part because of Barnes’ play in the third Q.

I’ll be curious to see how it plays out when the competition and teammates are better. I still think Suggs will have the better rookie year. Barnes will have some great games and some games where he basically is invisible. By year three we will see where we are at.

That's why I'm still a little undecided. Suggs looked great in crunch time, but that pumped his stats up a bit. He didn't shoot the ball well overall, snuck in a couple block near the end of regulation, only 1 assist.

Can't deny he's more polished and ready.

Still all early.

You want the pro Barnes anti Suggs summary ? He had tons of open shots he wont have in the real games,he wont bully guards down low that easily and he likely will get miscast by Orlando because they also want to develop Cole's bum ass....

I literally walked away thinking the same shyt but I didn’t wanna come across as a bitter hater. What Barnes did in his debut seemed more transferable to me against actual NBA athletes than what Suggs did. It almost looked like Suggs was just an ex-college player beating up on weekend Warriors at the Y. I wonder if Suggs gets those blocks against nikkas that know what they’re doing.

Good. We really needed a 6'9ish point guard/forward with large holes in their game

Masai really has a type. If there's a 6'9 defender in next year's draft with long arms and even a hint of passing ability, Masai is in :wow:

To be fair though, I liked Bonga when he declared for the draft though. Clearly skilled, but like with every one of our 6'9 guys...everything hinges on being able to shoot. If not, I guess he'll be in the 905 with Johnson, Banton and possibly Precious/Gillespie. Even fukking Yuta is a 6'9 long armed defender who's chances are tied with him being able to shoot :russ:

I watched him a bit with Germany in the Olympics and he looked decent, still no jump shot but he played well in what I saw otherwise

He's still only 21 too

I'm just annoyed by the signing and being negative because it feels like Masai is autistic for this type of player
