If you take out Kawhi getting mad at the Spurs, everything Masai has done is par for the course throughout his whole entire career. You're basically praying for a superstar to get upset and traded for one of our lesser players.

masai is fools gold. He tried trading lowry to the knicks and also was going to until patrick patterson did that shot against the nets when teh raps went on that hot streak.

He got lucky with kawhi and thats it. What moves have he done since then?

Powell, Siakam and OG are the only good picks he's ever made. Probably missing something but whatever

Maybe Flynn too but he's still a late round guy and the jury is still out

I don't feel it was a Masai pick. I feel like it was a Nurse pick. The way he cycled through guys not playing defense last year

Also, regardless of who got picked, the Raptors player development team is top notch so we just have to hope and pray at this point.
It's going to be a rough couple of years.
