but people forget how horrible the raptors were before him
masai brought stability yeah he hasn't been great the past few years but I remember the dark days with colangelo and babcock
Nobody believes we can sign anyone of signifigance with him here...that was the one thing he was supposed to fix before he left and he hasnt done it,credibility issues will linger with this team regardless of whos in charge because were not american and the xenophobia will always exist from writers to fans to ESPN etc etc etc....
Because MLSE hired awful people to run this team for years,Masai was the first decent exec but hes far from the only one out there...

He did get Lowry and derozan to stay. And brought us a title. He’s not a messiah but he deserves some props. I wonder who would replace him if he left.
I give him credit for making that trade but we were lucky it was available to us and we took advantage of it.....Getting Lowry and DeRozan to stay doesnt bring credibility...Re signing Kawhi or getting Giannis here brings credibility.
He wasnt able to do either,maybe thats unfair cuz nobody could make those happen but if were talking credibility to this franchise that would stop ESPN and all the jokes about nobody wanting to play here those are the kind of moves that do that NOT Lowry or Demar....
Were always gonna have ridicule and credibility issues until we land someone of signifigance and they stay here...Masai did alot of things here but he still hasnt changed that perception...

we are in a good spot breh. Look at some of these teams they are old and capped out with no lotto pick, or have cap space and a horrible roster in a weak FA

Next season starts in October, so I guess he'll be out for the first month. Not bad, guess we'll get OG or Boucher at the 4 to start the season
