Top 10 Most OVERRATED films of all time - Godfather #1

The only films I have no clue why they are on this list are GotG and Dark Knight Rises. The hype for Mad Max was so big I get why its there. While I don't think The Godfather is a top 10 overrated I can understand why some people think its overrated. People and critics have been talking forever about it being the best movie ever and if you are a young cat (lets say under 18) when you see first I can 100% understand why someone would turn it off 30 mins in.

I liked it somewhat the first time I watched it but it bored my to tears anytime I try to watch it a second time.

I'm not saying it happens to all people. I was 14-15 when I saw The Deer Hunter and I couldn't even finish it. It wasn't until I was 22 I saw why it got all the acclaim it did.

The Deer Hunter is mad overrated but the classic Vietnam scenes are worth the watch. Actually I just skip to that scene and I don't care much for the entire rest of the film.

Avatar is not overrated, it gets shyt on more than most films it seems.

I felt like Avatar and TDKR should be placed on this list because it got major praised by critics on it has ridiculous ratings on IMDB.
