I think it's a HUGE assumption to think other dude is dead. I know this is the Internet and there are basically no rules, but there's nooooothing confirmed on that end. It takes a lot to kill a dude :ehh: even if an eyewitness said he was thrown 50 yards, which I don't believe :aicmon:

Those cars are powerful as hell and get sideways really easily. If he guns it and you're stuck in between the bottom of the damn tire and some dirt...and you get fired 50 yards away....no it's not a huge assumption. Especially since they're keeping hush hush over the shyt.

That's why ESPN not reporting shyt but the bare facts and even with those they're being cautious and passing it off on eyewitness reports. It's 2am on a Sunday morning, they in no rush to investigate this thing.

Maybe so. Don't know so much about it, but unconfirmed speculation is the worst.

On another note,
ESPN should live for this, as it did with Sandusky, Pistorius, Donald Sterling and other stories that transcend sports in a tragic way. I am shocked they're not all over this. Deadspin is killing it bc they're just an aggregate for the most part, which isn't a bad thing (#NewMedia) — but given the size of ESPN's NASCAR staff, they should be on this.
