Nascar allowing stewart to drive is whats disgusting here.
Not only that but looking at various other places people are defending stewart And nascar are disgusting.
Im not god so im not going to pretend to know what stewart was thinking. But from the videos its clear at the very least stewart meant to brush by him and at the minimum scare him. But the fact is stewart did not attempt to avoid him and now someone is dead.
If this was the real world and somebody was say a heavy machine operator. Say a forklift operator. If two coworkers fought and one decided to brush by the other on his machine and accident or not killed the other what do you think would happen?
Said man would not be coming into work the next day and he damn sure would not be allowed to just jump back on a forklift and get back to work. Their would be a thourough investigation, probable criminal charges and the mans certificate would be revoked and he wouldnt allowed on a machine again.
The handling of this is despicable.

A decision made repeatedly in many races - without getting killed - by the very man who killed him. The kid was apparently doing what everyone else does. Adrenaline flows, blah blah blah, other drivers avoided him.
Tony went to throw mud on the kid - a decision also made repeatedly in many races in that world. He came in too close. The kid got wrapped up in the tire instead of just being covered in mud. Kid died.
This is Tony's fault for being a world class athlete and not a shrub, a man twenty years older and experienced, and still going after the kid instead of letting it go.
ok "darted" was unfair, but again, i tend to believe if this was a "nice guy" Nascar driver* people would be jumping to his side.
im sorry but you ever have a squirrel run in front of your car? shyt fukks you up for a split second. now imagine if something that you'd never expect to see in a million years was suddenly in your path. who the fukk ever expects to see a guy in the middle of the track? there was a car in front of him, maybe he was focused on the car, b/c ya know it was a race, then boom a fukkin guy is right there.
again, in no way sticking up for this guy. he could easily be the biggest a$$hole on the planet and wanted to hit the guy, but fukk, that's not the first theory im gonna jump to. it's just dumb
the guy who died deserves a Darwin award. even if you tell me this happens all the time. does it happen on a dark ass, small dirt track at night while wearing all black?

Good point, there is no morals involved in business.
The kid won't get legal justice, his family and friends will have to take it to the street if they wan't justice.

Just stop it man, he was not in front of the car....there was a car before that went by and didn't have a problem but all of a sudden the conditions changed & Tony couldn't control his car.

it's a fukkin dirt track dude. he could have hugged the turn completely differently from the blue car in front of him. if he took the turn closer to the wall, it would have made it harder to get out of the way. we're talking about high speeds and split seconds here. jesus
I can't fathom the idea of wandering out onto a track with cars going that fast by me. Even if I'm furious, ill wait knowing I'll likely have a chance to give you a two piece and a biscuit when we are both out of our cars and on the sidelines if I'm still as mad as the kid appeared to be. That video is insane man. Geez.
