When you’re the boss you don’t have to do shyt but collect what they kick up to you. You gotta remember at the start of the show he’s a Capo so he had already made his bones.
Before he became a capo how many hours a day did he probably work?

Mobster isn’t a 9 to 5 job. Depends on what he was involved in. Those no show/no work jobs involved them just collecting a paycheck or sitting around for 8 hours. Then there’s high jacking, he probably worked 3-4 hours then spent the rest of the time at the Bing. Before he became a capo how many hours a day did he probably work?
I'll give him one thing, dealing with these a$$holes was not easy. When he was in a coma, and Sil was in charge, he couldn't handle the job for longer than a few days before he collapsed from he stress.Besides Ralphie none of that is his fault. He had to clean up after all these guys. I have a soft spot for Christopher I don't think he should have killed him but he hated his life in the mob he didn't want to be the boss.
tony was the boss. people paid up to him. he worked his way up fast (in some characters eyes) because he was mafia royalty via his father uncle and best friend who died from cancer. tony didn't work at all in the traditional sense. he "tried" to keep his crew happy by putting them in positions to make money for the family or he gave special treatment for people who got up did it themselves (like Ralph and the Esplanade Construction with new york and johnny sack and vito and whatever the fukk he was doing before his horrible ark in season 5 and 6) .he ran a strip club and other legit businesses to wash money to look legitimate to the fedsJust finished watching the first episode of season 4. Tony is sitting on his couch eating ice cream and he is telling carm he worked his ass off to get the money she is so worried about. Does tony actually work hard? How many hours does he put in to provide for his family?
And a sexual deviant. He wanted to stick his dikk in everything walking. His sexcapades got him into a lot of trouble.Funny I've been watching Soprano's clips on youtube recently. What I gathered rewatching scenes 10 years after originally watching it in my early 20's, Tony is an awful boss. He was petty, hypocritical, vindictive, quick to anger and had no control over his crew. It's probably why he was such a great character to watch.

Ralphie and Vito both made him alot of money. But they were both a$$holes, so I go with Tony's decision on that
Alot of this stuff is pretty ridiculous..him magically surviving the black guys trying to shoot him in the car..him out running the feds at Johnny Sack's mansion...Junior shooting him after the mental bullshyt...him burning down Artie's restaurant and Artie just taking itmy nephew never had the makings of a type a personality
but in all seriousness i think the hardest thing he had to do was keeping a bunch of reckless emotional mobsters prone to violence (and in chrissys case self-destruction) in line. prevent wars from breaking out, careless hits, money distribution etc.
He wasn't realistic..him leap frogging Junior wasn't possible...he would of been executed immediately. That played it off like p*ssy, Tony, and Jackie Aprilie grew up together..made it like Paulie was around his father before he died...they used that as reasoning for why Tony was allowed to be boss like that.tony was the boss. people paid up to him. he worked his way up fast (in some characters eyes) because he was mafia royalty via his father uncle and best friend who died from cancer. tony didn't work at all in the traditional sense. he "tried" to keep his crew happy by putting them in positions to make money for the family or he gave special treatment for people who got up did it themselves (like Ralph and the Esplanade Construction with new york and johnny sack and vito and whatever the fukk he was doing before his horrible ark in season 5 and 6) .he ran a strip club and other legit businesses to wash money to look legitimate to the feds
to answer your second question he probably acted like he had a 9-5 to appease carmela i dont remember if they ever spoke about it because she knew what he was doing for real. her character was trash i fast forwarded through her shyts on second watches
Tony got in 4 car accidents in the span of what 8 - 10 years? Talk about your reckless driver. lolAlot of this stuff is pretty ridiculous..him magically surviving the black guys trying to shoot him in the car..him out running the feds at Johnny Sack's mansion...Junior shooting him after the mental bullshyt...him burning down Artie's restaurant and Artie just taking it
It was some Batman type shyt like with Dexter..
Yeah him running away from the feds was completely unrealistic. The feds would have known Tony was in there before they even busted the door down. They would have had eyes on the house.Alot of this stuff is pretty ridiculous..him magically surviving the black guys trying to shoot him in the car..him out running the feds at Johnny Sack's mansion...Junior shooting him after the mental bullshyt...him burning down Artie's restaurant and Artie just taking it

I didn't say it was realistic, nothing tony did was. he didnt out run the feds they wanted johnny sack and they had nothing on tony yet. they let him go. junior was senile not sure what was wrong with that , and artie didnt take it he pulled the civil war chopper on him and didnt want to kill and believed him after tony lied. even tho he burned it down to protect him from a murder junior wanted to do in thereAlot of this stuff is pretty ridiculous..him magically surviving the black guys trying to shoot him in the car..him out running the feds at Johnny Sack's mansion...Junior shooting him after the mental bullshyt...him burning down Artie's restaurant and Artie just taking it
