That whole episode was them in their feelings over interviews during WM weekend

They tried to cool down a white hot WWE only to end up getting 3rd degree burns & still smoldering

You would think they would just focus on just running the show with quality on the mind, but between the Edge promo, "Bauwses Dawughtah!. And that dumb ass security footage...like HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TAKE THIS COMPANY AS A THREAT IF ALL OF THEM ACTING LIKE SCORN HOES :why:

I did see that some of the posters were upset; but I distinctly remember complaints about people only posting in the stinks thread and it derisively being called a "safe space."

Never understood why there were multiple threads. Cattle's bullshyt about some d-list aew wrestler being in a Tubi movie should have been right next to Brad's posts about some shytty spot imo. Now thats sort of happening and folks want to write treatises about the state of TSC.

Speaking of cattle

Mandem really left because he couldn't racebait anymore 😭

Imagine seeing Punk doing business with both Roman & Seth because its BUSINESS.

When you had the chance to have the same with an even hotter boil to it already yet pissed it all away because you a p*ssy ass grown man :snoop:
I honestly think when Roman said he doesn’t like Punk last night was a shoot

But like Seth he’s a mature grown man & can put his personal feelings aside when it’s time to handle business

Most definitely. You don't remember them interviews him and Seth did not only when Punk was in AEW but even before. Seth always took the stance of wanting to work with him until the AEW shyt happened then he flipped it, Probably cause he tight with KO/The Bucks. Roman never forgave him for that 2014 "Make Roman look strong" shyt. And honestly that was right when MFs started hating him, Daniel Bryan played into that too of course though.

To be fair, that one's the marks' fault for misconstruing some shyt that was about Vince's illogical booking.

One thing I don’t get

You criticize WWE you go back n forth but you agree to disagree

Criticize AEW in comes the name calling & a unhinged back n forth

they are coping hard again in the other thread :heh:

only fanbase I've ever seen that gets more smug the more they lose :why:

I feel bad for how they must live their lives if being objective about things is considered "hating"

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet for Insight (via Fightful), Ricky Starks spoke about his first promo after CM Punk was fired from AEW and noted that he was told to be grateful he had a job. Starks was in a feud with Punk at the time and immediately had to shift to fighting Bryan Danielson.

He said: “Before I went out, I was nervous, but I guess I didn’t really realize what was about to happen. I was so frustrated in such a beautiful and organic way. The day before, Tony comes out and announces that Punk is gone. I actually opened that show with a promo. Watch the promo. Very good, and you can kind of tell what’s happening. I was so frustrated about things happening the way they have. I’ll never forget someone telling me, ‘Just be grateful that you even have a job.’ I’ll never forget feeling like, ‘How dare you.’ Don’t tell me to be grateful for something that I’ve worked very hard for. That saying, ‘I know that you’re hungry for a dinner. Here is a half-eaten loaf of bread. Let me take that back. Here are the crumbs.’ fukk you. Don’t tell me to be grateful for something. You don’t live my life and understand the things I’ve gone through to get in this moment. It really set me off. When it came to Sunday, I was looking forward to it, but I didn’t realize what laid ahead of me and what I was going to be capable of what I was doing. Bryan had that injury too and we had to deal with that.

Jody Threat won gold today at the Smoothcomp 2024 Jiu-Jitsu for Team Life tournament. She competed in the blue belt middleweight division. She defeated Paige Newman by submission in the semifinals, then Aubrey Formica in the finals on points (7-0).

To be fair, I think Tony would have booked it. I think Punk would have played ball. But it was the Bucks that were the hold up.

Who do we think told him to be grateful he has a job? Jericho? Christopher Daniels? Colt Cabana?
