Rainmaker wrestling style is just not a good fit for AEW as it currently stands. He's always been the slower, methodical, marathon type guy and that's not what AEW caters to at all. Unless he's in there with someone who can sell like Death, there's not much to pop the crowd until the last couple minutes with the signatures.

AEW has conditioned it's audience to faster pace and spot heavy wrestling, it's not shade it's a fact. They will die or zone out without it so he needed another hook and they're running with the BIITCH thing to make him stand out.

E would've booked him worse. But I'm still mad we didn't get to hear the coins drop for the rumble

I did see that some of the posters were upset; but I distinctly remember complaints about people only posting in the stinks thread and it derisively being called a "safe space."

Never understood why there were multiple threads. Cattle's bullshyt about some d-list aew wrestler being in a Tubi movie should have been right next to Brad's posts about some shytty spot imo. Now thats sort of happening and folks want to write treatises about the state of TSC.

One tries to be overly positive/in denial of the booking
Other is very critical if the booking

In between there’s the weekly live threads, appreciation threads & other random threads

Doesn’t seem any different I just now whenever you’re critical of a company AEW in particular you get dog piled

Stealing this take from someone else— ironically Ricochet stood out in WWE better than he does in AEW.

Ricochet style in the ring started getting him spots in matches like the Royal Rumble, ladder matches, etc. his style is a lot of what wrestlers in AEW do. How does he stand out then?

Another Ironic analysis is since everyone else can consistently put on wrestling clinics in AEW, Ricochet needs to rely on promo work and charisma to stand out, at least an interesting storyline .

I don’t know where his career would be going if he stayed in the WWE, despite the slow start in AEW I don’t know how his career will be.

Just think it needs to be pointed out it might be harder for him to thrive in AEW without TK wanting to personally make Ricochet a top guy.

Sure he was the “ originator” but he’s doing nothing new plus he wrestles like he doesn’t want to do it anymore

Tony brought in several Mexican wrestlers who wrestle just like him now he doesn’t stand out

Sure he going to put on a good match but what else he’s brought nothing new to the table & already hit his ceiling

And some posters be willing to take each other down over stan wars lol— which I’m all in for if it’s all entertainment and not serious, but posters take it too far. Its maddening, I tell ya . Like it gets to the point you nod and move on because there are no bygones or "that's like your opinion man" with Dubheads. It oozes of insecurity that maybe just maybe the promotion is a indie with Scrooge McDuck money.

No point in crashing out when the message won't get through that most of us, including the marsupial, do not want AEW to die, but fix up its lug head ass decisions.

This right here was the "finger poke of doom" for AEW, point blank period.

Why show footage of your employee getting choked out by an ex employee that is no longer in the fukking company . Nevermind that was probably the weirdest episode of Dynamite in existence (especially with Ocean Spray being in his feelings over what Triple Nose Length was saying).

I swear the "MVPs" are the main reason why this promotion will never get out of the stigma, along with the dumb ass billionaire toy collector.
