I don't blame him. One of AEW's biggest weaknesses is in terms of storytelling for more than just a handful of the roster.
Like even if Sonny Kiss wasn't appearing on Dynamite every week they could have a storyline for him on Dark.
But they put almost no effort into writing for Dark. The last real storyline on Dark was the Pete Avalon/Brandon Cutler/Leva Bates breakup feud.
Instead of stories Dark is just people wrestling one another with no stakes or angles.
Dark is 2 hours of wrestling every week that should be treated like its just like Dynamite. Write angles for people, create feuds, let people work on their promo game. That way people can still be doing creative things even if they aren't on the main show and they could use Dark to prime storylines for the Dynamite.
Its just a wasted opportunity the way they are doing it now.

hopefully with elevation coming, they actually use Dark to push storylines for people like Kiss and Janela, Shawn Dean, Lee Johnson, top flight, bear country, Peter Avalon, cutler or whatever, etc etc
that way people will tune in more and actually care once they hit dynamite
