#1 Why I dont rock with cat is when he was trying to get his show off the ground he along w/ a bunch of southern churches sold out the Million Man March, I used to listen to his joint in the morn back in my HU days, next thing you know him and a rack of black preachers started hating on the minister, they even did another march in Atl same time that only had like 5000 folks show up. Coincidentally immediately after that he got his national syndication. Theres talk that those same churches got mad benefits as kickbacks from the govt for their stance, some of yo fav preachers w/ these mega churches down south got they loot from that same stance.

B) He sold out Tavis, when he used to appear on his show he could have easily squashed the beef black folks had with him from the jump. All the dude said was we gotta keep Obama as well as all politicians accountable. That statement has been turned into all types of shyt and he could have deaded it but Tavis segment was outshining him on his show.

III. He is a apart of the degrading of black radio, you used to hear real news on black radio that affects us, you got program directors that cite his show as a format to follow, mad jokes, celebrity gossip and minimum content unless its a situation where folks might be ready to pop off and then c00n like him have their serious show to keep the masses quiet and calm.

He's an agent, a selllout and a tom as his name already indicates

I got a lot of respect for Tom Joyner. He really made a name for himself in a very conservative pro-white arena (Morning radio). He helped open the doors for a lot of people to get put on and he made himself a top level radio host without betraying who he was (until relatively recently). While I do think that he leaned too heavily on the Black Church (not true Christians but the Black Church as a mafia unit raping the pockets of poor Black folk). I did disagree with him cashing out his controlling interest in the station he helped start, especially since he was smart enough to see how it hurt other Black business owners in media. But this could be a blessing in disguise, he could set himself up in the digital realm if he wants to continue doing what he does.
