Maybe Dracula and The Mummy agree to team up with the goal of taking over the world and splitting it down the middle...Dracula gets the Western hemisphere and Mummy gets the East.
Its not like we haven't seen villains/bad guys team up before. Just by virtue of them teaming up doesn't mean they will become the heroes of the story.

also, he said it's not gonna feel familiar...well, he's lied already...that trailer made this movie feel like a familiar action movie...to go along with the rest of what he said, that means the rest of the movies gonna be along the same theme....naw, i'm good...if i wanna see comic book characters, i'll just watch comic book movies, not monsters pretending to be anti-heroes....

i disagree....i think people would pay to see movies about full on villains...i mean, these are monsters, so people would want them to act like monsters...making them anything less than that fukks it up to me...

that still makes them anti-hero types, which monsters shouldnt be....they are monsters, so they should be monsters....let them be villains, but since this is their universe, let them win.....make the movies horror movie vibed with drac fukking shyt up over here, mummy fukking shyt over there, frankenstein's monster over there, wolfman over there, etc...and all this can be going on in the same universe/world...when they cross paths/team-up, make it be to take out the good guys that's trying to stop them, not some bigger, badder, more evil thing....i want them to be monsters god damnit lol...

edit - just thought: they could have it where the movies revolve around a kid...where ever that kid lives, a different monster shows up and shyt happens, including trying to kill the kid....every time the kid moves to get away from one monster, another shows up, and the same thing happens....this keeps happening throughout a couple movies, and in the team up movie, we found out why: the kid can be van helsing (sp) or some other famous monster hunter as a kid....the monsters have been trying to kill him before he grows up and kills them.....so you can get a team of good guys/monster hunters, to protect and try to save the kid, and have them go against a team of monsters....but since this is the monster's universe, i kinda want them to eventually win and kill the kid at the end...

Dope idea but that sounds too fukked up to be green lighted. Cmon hollywood not killing cac kids. Shyt would just be home alone monster edition

Why does the mummy series kind of suck, i could only get into the Frasier one, the other sequel with jet li, the hammer remake, the mummys hand and of course the og universal one

I used to love these movies, even the second one. The third was garbage though. I'm not really feeling the vibe of this film. I liked that the others were set in the past and this just seems a little...over ambitious. I also hate the idea of the monster universe, I didn't even know about it.

I don't know what it is, but I've been really unimpressed with most movies these past few years. So much so I don't even stream them. I used to be a huge movie buff too...

I will however probably stream this.

i dont think the chick is the 'mummy'...i think that's tom cruise.....say that cause crowe says 'welcome to the new world of gods and monsters'....in this case, it wouldnt surprise me that the chick is the 'god', while cruise is the 'monster' aka the mummy...
