He loss too many leaders on that team, therefore loss the locker room. Eli ain't no leader that's for damn sure. Nobody there to get in the ass of the defense or keep odb in check.

Giants Superbowl wins were built on power running and defense. Ironic how them and the Steelers completely abandoned that philosophy. A lot of teams need to get back to basics and simplify their game.

Eli's flaky ass play did him in. Dude would crush defenses all the way to a Super bowl, then look like Trent Dilfer for 2 seasons after that. If Coughlin was a bit younger, I'd say he should try again with another franchise, but he's probably ready to throw in the towel. Been a good run. :salute:

Coach is a legend and if he wants to retire I'm ok with him leaving. If he wants to coach next year let him. Get rid him of him if he fails to produce with a good squad. Team has been injury prone and lack talent. The ship is slowly improving and he deserves to have that chance to win with a good squad.
