You're one of those dudes that believes qb wins is a real stat. Brady just took a L, no excuses.
Its always has been, always will be. Since the days of Unitas, Starr and Staubach. Not making excuses, he lost. If wins arent a QB stat, neither are yards and tds. Theyre not throwing the ball to themselves.

You’re not taking into account some of the egregious drops that happened and killed drives. I’ve never seen Brady play this poised under this much duress as a Buccaneer.

He had plenty extra chances because of the Rams dumb ass turnovers and failed execution on offense. But with the injuries on offense there was no guarantee Brady would even get the offense into the end zone

He literally had two all-time great pass rushers (#99 is arguably the GOAT) and another good one breathing down his neck

As highly touted as the Bucs defense is finally being fullly healthy, it shoulda never been this easy for the Rams to score. Stafford lead the league in picks & they barely disrupted him

Buccaneers scored 30+ in every game at home this season except the outlier game against the Saints. They literally did it today when you take into account Succop missing an easy field goal. That’s with literally half their offense missing…

Brady had a couple bad games this year, this was by far one of his most impressive. He got a lot of luck to go his way (and bad luck) but dude actually delivered.

Why should it not have been that easy for the Rams to score? You want to bring up how Bucs average 30, the Rams average 27. They are one of the highest scoring offenses in the league and already put 34 on TB earlier in the year. I watched Carson Wentz style on this defense for half a game.

Poor o-line play, injuries, #99 etc were contributing factors, but Brady did not have a good game. This happens to QBs all the time.

Considering the D was completely whole compared to the O, I'd say its fair to give the O a little more slack.

For Tom specifically, the way that o line was ravaged to the point son was getting pressured and hit damn near every other play, you gotta give credit where credit was due for him to have even performed to the extent he did. He put his team in a good position and was on the bench watching when the game was lost. He did what he could.

Much respect to Tom. If you gonna lose, especially if you gonna end your career on an L, that's the type of L to do it on, if that makes sense. shyt was gutsy to even fight back and be in a position to take it to OT to possibly win considering all the shyt the O had working against them. Rams can talk all that big shyt after sneaking out with the win on a bad defensive call, but they were shook af to end that game, and most of that was because of TB12.

I agree with the earlier poster, usually when hurried the entire game, TB is flustered and forces throws. Here, he pushed but didn't make stupid errors. Heartbreaker to lose like this, but they went out swinging and up until 42 seconds left, had all the momentum in the world.
I'm afraid Tom comes back and his OC and DC are both gone

Not a flat top game for sure. For how bad the offensive line was this was an amazing game that he didnt win ala 2015. If they bucs get points off that errant snap turnover the game would have gone to overtime but thats really the only drive besides the int where its clearly his fault. shyt he put up a better game than Mahomes did in the superbowl under similar conditions. If tristian wirfs and chris godwin is in there this whole game is different. He did the most he could do under the conditions when due to the injuries his team was not the better one. I will say Bruce arians system and Byron leftwich playcalling leave so much to be desired even with all the yards and points they put up

This

Obviously it doesn't hold up 100% (trent dilfer vs Dan Marino)

But GENERALLY SPEAKING, there is a strong correlation between wins and QB play. It's the most important position.

Always will be. They just hate Brady thats all. All the truly great QBs have lots of wins(Brady, Manning, Elway, Marino, Favre etc

The Bucs average 30+ consistently even when they aren’t whole…

They averaged 30+ for the season last year, and in the play offs. That’s how productive this offense is… and it’s mostly because of Tom. When the All-22 film comes out you’ll see exactly how many blemishes this dude covers up. The way the o-line got smoked you’d wonder how there was only 3 sacks taken

nah it shouldn’t be THAT easy for the Rams considering the Bucs fielding their full starting defense for the first time the entire 2021/2022 season.

They had ample amount of time to study and dissect McVay and the offense cuz they have played them 3 straight years. McVay has took a shyt in Toilet Bowles defense every time. Whether it be Goff or Stafford
