He right about Coke, I don't buy that shyt for my kids. My son only drinks Sprite and my daughter hates soda.

I'm grown and the only time I drink Coke is when I mix it with cognac sometimes

Frosted Flakes a different story, I was raised on that shyt. It's not the best but it's alot other cereals he could have went at before them

Swap the sausage for an apple or a few slices of avocado, much healthier. Also whole wheat toast only.

For the same reason french fries are not a vegetable.

A potato is already bottom on the totem pole when it comes to vegetables, nutrition-wise. While technically a root veggie, its starchiness and ultra-high glycemic index makes it actually much closer to a refined grain product than something you should eat consistently every day.

On top of that, frying anything causes the fat content and caloric value to skyrocket, and they're also loaded with salt. So its basically taking one thing that is not super healthy to begin with, and adding a bunch of fat and salt. On top of all that, potato chips arent very filling so people tend to eat a lot more than they realize.

Try baking your own sweet potato chips in the oven as a healthy alternative

Brady is 100% right. Those products are not really food but nutritionally devoid garbage, created in focus tested labs to get you fat and hooked on sugar. :salute:

As for the meat / veggie debate ITT, most of the world's longest-lived and disease free people tend to eat mostly plant based diets. The ikarians, sardinians, okinawans, and nicoyans sparingly eat animal protein, and when they do land based animals are a very small percentage of their caloric intake. There are some counterexamples (Maasai etc) but they eat end to end animals and I doubt anyone here is eating offal, marrow, and bone broth on regular basis.

Thank you, breh. Instead of laughing at my spelling on a sports board, or just posting a smiley, u brought facts.

I need to reexamine my position. +rep

:myman:... Aside from valid resources on the net, start reading my nikka Charles Darwin, his writings will blow your mind and once the evolutionary process clicks, you'll be like :ohhh: at how "simply intricate" this thing called nature is. It's fits together in a very logical stream and makes absolute sense, the hard part is envisioning it on the genetic level and erasing all the junk knowledge popular culture feeds us as evolutionary facts (ie humans come from monkeys :mjlol:). No preconceived notions when reading Darwin makes it easier to understand.

A good starting point is Darwin's "On the Origin of Species." Of course you'll be reading it in Darwin's era English, but patience and a vivid imagination makes it worthwhile.
