I call it, "flippy floppy wrestling".

It's like everyone wants to be Jeff Hardy, Rob Van :damn: and Shawn Michaels all rolled into one perfect flippy floppy robot being able to do any and everything. :camby:FOH

I too much prefer grounded wrestlers because that is a more realistic approach to fighting in real life than a gymnastic acrobat spinning off of a wall to give you a roundhouse kick which would never happen in a real fight because it's not believable. WWE creative just doesn't give a fukk and it's been this way for the past 4 years since NXT came along.

With NXT they are grooming their future performers to flip and flop around so expect to see it for the next 15 years:mjcry::mjlol::scust:

Question how do you feel about the Lucha Libre style? Ironically in Mexico, kayfabe is still alive even though like you said it's a pretty unrealistic style.

Refuse to evolve? The WWE adopted (or at least tried to adopt) the fast paced indy style that is common today. The only problem is that using an "indy" style on a WWE schedule is an easy way to get injuries.

Maybe NXT and that’s a maybe..... but not the Main Roster

Facts. So many false finishes and all that shyt that I hate.

Brock n Roman was decent and Rhonda match was great to me

Brock n Roman was a blast to me. Two big ass dudes who hate each other in a FIGHT. Not tryna out flip each other or do a suicide dive. Roman spearing Brock over that table

:wow:

You have to admit that 5 F5's was a bit much though. According to wikipedia, these were some of the moves on Brock's moveset years ago but I didn't see him use any of these last night.

I don't like that either, I prefer the strong style with solid ground work. When I watched WWF I watched it because I *BELIEVED that the fights were real, and when you had performers like Stone Cold for example taking that style to a new plateau then that is what I want from today's wrestlers.

This is what I wanna see in WWE...

No false finishes, no flippy floppy acrobatic shyt, just a solid real fight with passion and making every move count with one end to the fight.

And again, there’s nothing wrong with being fast paced if the shyt makes sense, but when it’s counter spin forearm false finish every other move it’s fukkingg terrible

The worst part is the finisher spamming. Was watching wrestlemania 14 a few weeks ago and the finish to that was exciting as fukk without a single finisher kick out.

I think it's a much better story when you have wrestlers trying to set up a finisher you know will end the match and their opponent always trying to counter it.

Finisher kick outs should only happen like 3 times a year in the absolute biggest matches.
