ESPN loves basketball and hates hockey, the only time the NHL lockout is even brought up is when some SportsCenter anchor mentions that no negotiations have been made. Shows like First Take, Sports Nation, Around the Horn etc.. never would bring hockey up to even criticize the players.

They don't own the hockey broadcasting contract NBC sports does thus they don't care
