Never liked Wayne like that

but I was playing this song non-stop when it came out

with that said, it’s aged pretty bad….don’t see myself playing it ever again

90% of Wayne songs have aged poorly.. that’s why he fell off so badly and has been irrelevant for a good 7-8 years while Tap dancing for Trump

it was a really big song, but I listen to Wayne for his lyricism, so I was really disappointed with that as the lead single, couldn't stand it at first tbh

but I know he put it out for the money so I was like whatever

The release of that single was a moment in time :wow:

It was definitely a disappointing single coming off all the fire Carter III leaks that ended up not being on the album. We will never see another run like Wayne's 06'-08' again.WATTBA

You can argue the perception is wrong, but the genera perception is Wayne isn’t on that level.
Nas and Hov believes he is though.

They've said it themselves.

shyt...peep the Nore interview.
