Because you don't realize you ARE THE OLD nikka

Old doesn't mean senior citizen

Anybody over 25 is old, when it comes to the club scene and going out

that's not the young adult crowd, old nikka in the club ass nikka lmao

"Carti is calling from an Atlanta tattoo shop, deciding which likeness of Lil Wayne to get inked on his forearm. He’s debated this tattoo for two weeks, and for now, this mid-January weeknight may be the only break he can catch."

ICONIC

Root word is ICON

In order for something to be ICONIC, it has to REPRESENT SOMETHING to SOMEONE

California Love is an ICONIC SONG, because it will FOREVER REPRESENT THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, and it's pretty much an anthem for the west coast and will always be that

Lollipop doesn't represent anything to anyone, it had zero culture impact anywhere

Once again 25 and UP IS OLD for the club scene

You can be 29 and still your 20's YOUR OLD

If that's the case you wouldn't be old enough to even understand the landscape of the song when it was released

you fukking moron

which one is it

that's your criteria cool

if a song set off waves of influence that still are going 13 years later it can get the consideration

even beyond just the music other artists are pulling from the video & the creative direction from the video

all elements of that single are still present in music now

for you to consider something iconic does it have to be dusty prehistoric shyte¿

Lil Wayne is on the same level as Jay-Z Nas big pac.
WhichYearlyCentipede-size_restricted.gif

he doesn’t have that same level of universal respect as a lyricist that they have.
Different eras. The sound of hip hop changed a lot by 2008.
He’s obviously one of the biggest rappers ever. Is he iconic and legendary for that? Sure. But is he iconic as an artist/lyricist in the way those four are hailed? I don’t see it.
