@Daniel. In pickup (even in organized games) most people ain’t rotating on defense after the blow by on the perimeter going into the mid range pull up unless it’s game point (especially if you’re playing full on a regulation court). All you have to do is have a consistent splash from there and if you can beat your man from behind the arc , usually no one is rotating and if they do it’s lazy :mjlol:

Even better if your teammates recognize you’re splash mode from midrange and can help create space for you . You can always tell who played more years of organized ball not so much by what they do WITH the ball in their hands , but by what they do OFF the ball.

Playing with cats that dont cut to the basket, or big fellas with a mismatch that wont go in the post:leostare:

Can you put a breh up on game in regards to this:why:. What kind do you use?

I used to use the vibration platform at the chiropratcor and really liked it there. I came across one for a good price and decided to buy it. This is the version that I got.

Ultra Slim Vibration Plate – Ultra Slim Home Vibration Massage Trainer

I didn't pay that much, but it's the same model and it works great. I'm sure there are others that are better, but this happened to be the one I came across at an auction warehouse.

The way you stand on it can change the muscles you target. For the most part it helps with circulation and helps contract muscles. You can do various exercises, but I mostly stand on it before and after I play basketball. I haven't had any knee problems since I started using it. Before it my knees always hurt and my lateral movement was terrible. The vibration actually targets the whole body, but simple adjustments can change the target. There are plenty of tutorials on various exercises you can do, but like I said I mostly stand on it and squat to target my knees.

It's a painful realization when your body can't keep up with your mind :mjcry:

You watch a game on the sidelines and look at these trash ass fools with no game :myman:

Step on the court and you can't react :damn:

Eh … I know of some Y leagues with 40-50 year olds who cook . You might not be tappin in to the right places .

and soooo many high schoolers lag on defense lol … they probably lag more (part lazy and part because the athleticism is still peaking so they can hedge and lag and still decently contest a shot if they want to) in my experience . They just wanna get their shyt off on the offensive end . It’s the flattop coalition that really tries to consistently lock in on defense with something to prove :heh: … again from my experience …

Offense isn’t the issue as you age as long as you can maintain hitting an open jumper…it’s playing consistent defense and trying to play at a high level both ways that damn near saps the lifeblood outta you . :mjlol:

It’s tough to find consistently top tier NBA two way players , so finding that shyt in pickup runs is damn near unheard of lol

But yeah, I know of “organized” weekend runs where younger players go to play with older players because the older players are out there cookin …

But I’m in NC … hoop is what we do . Leagues everywhere and some with a commingling of ages based on professed skill level .

When I was in high school I played against college hooopers as well … when in college I played with late 20s and 30 somethings as well … if you were serious about leveling up , you’d play against older heads . Our coach made us scrimmage older guys :mjlol:
breh. you ain't lying about the defense. i've never in my life thought to myself "if he does x y or z, i'm letting this kid score :manny: " but here i am. i can take one good look at a game and tell in two trips who actually needs to be guarded and who i can simply stand in front of aggressively and completely shut down

and i know some of these guys families too :gucci: "trey - all this dribbling your son doing but he don't know how to get his hips past someone and just drive? im locking your son up like i locked you up in 2006 :flabbynsick:"

Lol can y’all specify your ages when saying 30+? 31 vs 39 is a world of difference as far as athletic ability for most people.
