80s the best
You crazy as fukk about that Ye comment. He may have fallen off a bit, but it's been generally accepted that Ye is historically one of the best dressed hip hop artists of all time. Generally its Kanye and Nas and then everyone else. You crazy as hell.Brehs knew how to dress back then. Brehs today have no idea how to dress.
It'sto watch nikkas today juelzing about fashion, run behind cac designers, spend hundred of racks on designer shyt, and still looking like they got dressed in the dark.
I've never seen Kanye or Ac00n Rocky rock anything that made me say "damn, son fresh as hell!".
NEVER.
Look at Ye stankin ass now. He looks like he just got finish mowing a cac's lawn.
The chicks aint much better.
It's a shame because Black people generally know how to dress.
Agreed.Meanwhile... On the West Coast
What rocked so much about that style was that it was organic, had roots and expressed personality via threads. That's what the games missing because so many people now look at a screen and think Ctrl C, Ctrl V into real life which is why you see things like this happening all the time:
Anyone who was poppin tags back in the 80s even upto the 90s knows that you copped your gear from smaller, independent boutiques that had one or two pieces unlike now where its mass influenced, mass produced and mass consumed.
Same reason why different places used to have different vibes/stores/food spots and now they're all generic.
Its a sign of the times.
