IGN discussion:

Eric Goldman and Jim Vejvoda discuss the reveal that a Titans TV show is in the works and whether we might see more DC characters appearing in different incarnations, across different series.

Some More Info

http://screenrant.com/teen-titans-series-tnt-pilot-2015/

Titans will revolve around onetime Batman sidekick-turned superhero dikk Grayson, alias Nightwing, as he puts together a band of new superheroes whose ranks will also include classic Titans like Starfire and Raven… but perhaps not also Cyborg, whom Ray Fisher will be bringing to life on the big screen, starting in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. (Mind you, that’s not a given yet, concerning whether some other version of Cyborg will appear on Titans.)

The Titans program is being written by Oscar-winner Akiva Goldsman (Fringe) and co-produced by Marc Haimes (The Legend of Zorro). Titans is most certainly not TNT’s first excursion into proper action genre television before - not for the channel that airs such sci-fi/action programs as Falling Skies and The Last Ship – but it will mark the first time the network has dipped its feet into the pool of superhero entertainment.

When, exactly, the show will premiere on the network, is a question that remains to be answered. However, DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns has revealed that theTitans pilot will enter production next year (see below), so a late 2015/early 2016 premiere date would appear to be a possibility.

Casting announcements for the Titans pilot ought to be arriving sometime in the first half of 2015, depending on when exactly the first episode begins production. Fellow DC superhero TV series, such as CW’s Arrow and The Flash, have gone with established (but not always “seasoned”) TV actors to fill out their cast rosters.Titans could well follow those series’ lead where it concerns the eponymous crime-fighting squad, which ought to still be composed of younger heroes – though, not teenaged ones, it would appear.

It remains to be seen what sort of tone Titans goes for; after all, Goldsman’s genre writing style can vary significantly, ranging from the campy and cartoony (Batman & Robin) to the more grounded and po-faced (I Am Legend), depending on the project. There really isn’t a firmly-set tone for the DC television show universe either, though TNT would seem an odd place for a more flat-out goofy and playful Titansshow to call its home.

The CW’s president, Mark Pedowitz, has indicated that a Titans crossover with theArrow/Flash universe could work, which suggests a tone closer to those shows – a mix of light and dark in other words – and further away from the darkly quirky vibe of Fox’s Gotham series, for example. Perhaps once we start getting some casting news, it’ll be easier to decipher exactly what we’re going to be getting with Titans

You mean his own animated show. Bruce Timm should have had a "Nightwing" TAS years ago.
There was one rumored a few years back, but they didn't go through with it for whatever reason. I'll see if I can find more info.

Here's some concept art from it...

In September 2014, The CW president Mark Pedowitz stated there was a possibility that Arrow and The Flash would exist in the same universe as TNT's Titans series, while adding, "What you’ll see embedded in Flash and Arrowis that we’ll have the ability to test characters out. Is there room to grow them into the next show? I cannot tell you yet. There are discussions going on." In November 2014, Berlanti stated that the Supergirl series he is developing for CBS could also exist in the same universe as Arrow and The Flash.

:whew: If they all end up in the same universe. Ain't nightwing gonna be on arrow though?
