Dude leaves alot to be desired as a receiver.
And needs to be obsessed with the JUGS machine.

3 big plays where any top receivers makes those plays all the time.

1. Sideline out pattern- he has his hands in the wrong position, instead of trying to snatch it out the air, he has his hands in a body catch position and crosses himself up.
The corner was playing inside, perfectly thrown ball, he catches that and turns up the sideline he's gone for a TD.

2.TD out of bounds.- no awareness of the out of bounds line. Dude left foot was on the ground and instead of straightening his right leg backwards so his toes drag as it comes down, dude tries to plant it forward/straight down, and steps out of bounds.

3. Deep shot down the middle of the field- doesn't track the ball properly and again positions his hands for a body catch, instead of slowing down and going up to highpoint the ball with his hands, safety knocks the ball out.
Everything you said. Has a terrible game last night. And the best thing he did was called back smh

Does he got hands like that? Shannon and Ocho said there are two types of receivers, those with hands and those that catch with their bodies. Maybe he mentally fukked and not confident he can just hand catch it?

Been that way since college. If you need him to run in a straight line and beat his man he can do that all day and tomorrow, can't reliably do more

Obviously he's grown since then and since draft interviews when he was sitting down with teams shirtless like he was distracting them from his poor route tree lol. He just doesn't have the tools besides the physical to be a top guy and nobody talks about him like that so it's fine, but he's Seattle's #1 so it's a problem. Looking at him you'd think he'd do more, punish DBs more with size & strength, be a high end AJ Brown or something. He's 3 inches taller than AJ

Dwight Howard of receivers. One of the strongest & most athletic at the position, make big plays off raw athletics, no subtitles to speak of and no real bread and butter shyt you can run when the big shyt just isn't there

JJ, Chase, Lamb, guys like Kupp & Nacua when healthy etc, there's plenty of things underneath you can go to with them to keep the defense aware and keep chains moving, you can rely on it. Metcalf doesn't have that and Lockett at this point seems to only mostly show up on chunk plays like DK so 2 chunk guys & 1 underneath whose not quite there (JSN). Doesn't look good

Maybe.

Thats why I said he should be obsessed with the JUGS machine.
It's helps with positioning your hands even if you are a body catcher.

Two plays I pointed out were because his hands weren't positioned correctly so that in itself will lead to drops no matter the type of receivers.

So. Cal
Tua, Herbert, Love, Lawrence, Watson, Prescott, Stafford, Hurts, Daniel Jones are that much better than Geno? :mjlol:

All of these guys are hit or miss and I'd rather pay Geno 25 than be trapped paying them 50.
Call a 2nd year QB hit or miss brehs.:mjlol:
I didn't say they weren't better. I asked if they were that much better. Mahomes, Lamar, Burrow, Allen are indeed way better than Geno and all of these other guys. But those other qb's listed are simply not yet worth $25 million more than a Geno level qb. And they certainly are not deserving of top 4-5 qb money. It's a value discussion. People want the brand new QB and when he becomes like any of those guys listed, they complain about the hefty salary the team has to pay them. If my team isn't a surefire superbowl contending team, I'm okay with a Mayfield, Geno, Darnold, etc for much less until we can find someone who is that much better.
Geno is getting more towards the teams cap than all those QBs except Dak, Watson, and Jones in 2024 :dead:
