McGregor: Mayweather Beats Wife in Front of His Kid - He's Dirt!

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, five division world champion Floyd Mayweather formally apologized for calling Conor McGregor a "f*ggot" during last month’s international press tour.

The fighters are two weeks away from their showdown on August 26th, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Mayweather stated that he was baited into using the gay slur, because McGregor was being racial by calling him a "monkey."

"There are certain boundaries you just don't cross," Mayweather said. "In the press tour when I said something toward lesbians or gays when I said something toward him. I apologized, but him calling us monkeys, you have to realize, we went through years and years of up and down. Black Americans went through a lot. But I'm a strong individual. We live and we learn and hopefully after August 26th, he won't be speaking that same language.”

Mayweather went into more detail about that exchange this week with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, saying the fight on August 26th is for the "American people" and "all the blacks around the world." He also used the platform to apologize for the homophobic slur.

"I just thought about all our different leaders — Martin Luther King, Malcolm X — that went on the front line for me and my family and all my loved ones," Mayweather said when asked about what went through his mind. "This stuff still goes on, but I'm strong, smart, patient and come August 26th, I'll be the same person.”

McGregor has lashed out after hearing about Mayweather's recent statement - and brought up Mayweather's past issues with domestic violence, which saw the boxer go away for a 90 days jail stint in 2011.

“He knows there’s no racism from me,” McGregor said in an interview with ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. “His father knows. [Leonard] Ellerbe knows. Ask these people.”

“He said I labeled him a monkey. I never once in my life labeled him or any African American a monkey and it f***ing annoys me that he’s even bringing it this type of stuff up. If I was to label him after any animal it would the rat or the weasel. Because that’s a rat and a weasel move, trying to manipulate someone’s words and trying to create something that’s not even there.

“And that’s such a sensitive subject. I mean he’s a man that beats his wife in front of his kid. He is the dirt of the

I know that this is just the build up but I don't know why many fans still bring this up about Mayweather

Was it a low thing to do? Sure.
Did he get his punishment? Yes, he was in prison, not for long but he was.
Did his family forgive him already? Yes they supposedly did.

So if even the insulted ones forgave him then why people who aren't involved personally still bring it up?
Besides that it has nothing to do with boxing.

I say the same to Adonis Stevenson... He served his time in jail and he was 19yrs old or so but some people still seriously mad about the fact that he was something of a muscle in an organization which ran prostitutes.

are there crimes where the committers can never earn forgiveness? Possibly. But those 2 above don't belong in that category.

The whole Connor/Paulie thing is hilarious. Paulie speaks with such conviction and sincerity when he talks that he sounds really believable, but I do believe he embellishes a lot (in general just listening to him over the years), particularly when he said Connor's team set him up in a "crack house."

Having said that, I do believe the McGregor team set up unfavorable conditions for Paulie in order to get that content. All of the following elements are there:

- Paulie being out of boxing shape
- Paulie not allowed to have a boxing coach to get warmed up
- Uncertainty regarding when sparring would occur, which occurred after getting off a flight:russ:
- Uncertainty about how many rounds they would spar
- Connor probably being a little bit better than expected, and being in significantly better shape

As a result, Team McGregor was able to get some photos and video content to highlight his moments in sparring. The whole thing to me is hilarious.

I personally don't think he should have ever agreed to be a sparing partner, but it is what it is.:yeshrug:

It's a touchy subject but to be honest Floyd should not have gone to jail

Should somebody just hit somebody no

But Floyd was in his house and the woman started it

Floyd ain't a drug dealer or anything negative he's a multimillionaire so his family and kids should be straight

It was disrespectful on the woman's part

Floyd not even 5'11

He snapped everybody snaps

No, he's a professional fighter....the best of his lifetime in the pro ranks, where other elite boxers are barely good enough to put their hands on him, having 1 sided sparring matches vs his Son's Mom......in front of his Son:dahell:

Condone beating your Kid's Mother.....in front of the kids because you a Floyd fan brehs:snoop:

No one should be putting their hands on anyone
Bottom line is, he went to jail for it
And furthermore none of us were there, the way she described the story sounds like bullshyt but it is what it is.
I hate when ppl say " he beat her up in front of his kids"
Common sense tells anyone that they were havin a private conversation that turned physical late in the night, and one of the kids heard it and walked into the situation.
Same chick apologized to him and had sex with him a few weeks after he was released

His Son filed the police report

His Son was saying he was a coward for it: http://m.tmz.com/2014/11/19/floyd-mayweather-14-year-old-son-blasts-boxer-hes-a-coward/

Just because Floyd's money got them back under control, doesnt excuse a Boxer beating a woman....especially in front of the kids:manny:

lmao Floyd will KO Conor, you can't see who was more poised based on 30 second clip lmao

Paulie is fatigued because he sat on his ass for four months and did nothing, I know must of yall are flabby and sick in here in general and don't understand going 4 months without exercise is not good for your body lmao
Not sure about that KO but I'll come back and rep you if it happens. Conor has been consistently hit flush in the face with 4oz gloves, hit flush in the face with bare feet, knees and elbows and not KOd. He will be thoroughly outclassed though.

I don't give a fukk what the circumstances are...

Don't go around like a clown on a twitter finger tirade telling people "it was a push release the tape" when your flabby ass walked into a straight left and legit put on your ass...

Paulie lost all integrity in my book, straight clown status can never take this dude serious again...

Conor has never been hit with a clean knee, elbow, and kick to the head lmao
also none of that is relevant when you're hit on the chin, if what you saying were true mma fighters wouldn't get KO'd by punches and they get KO'd by punches more than anything lmao

It's a retarded argument makes no sense at all

Conor will get stopped by body shots, he is frail to the body like Virgil Hunter pointed out, he doesn't work out mid section at all, he's gonna get folded like laundry

It doesn't matter how well you can take a punch when you don't have the legs or stamina for 12 rounds of boxing...

The micks gassed in every fight he had to go more than 2 rounds...

The idea he can survive following Floyd around the ring for 12 rounds while repeatedly eating right hands is simply foolish...

This fight will be stopped with the mick taking the L...

Most likely scenarios

1. Mayweather wins by decision - to the tune of 120-108
2. Kim Jong Un wins by direct missile strike to Las Vegas
3. McGregor wins by knockout
4. Mayweather wins by knockout

Fixed for accuracy.
Mayweather winning by knockout . . . I just don't see it

McGregor winning by knockout is his only chance . . meaning he has to look for it the whole fight. He has to catch Mayweather with an irregular look, by that I mean, he has to be somewhat alinear in his movement (which it seems he's training to do, rather than being a technically proficient boxer - which he has no chance of)

McGregor is going to switch between orthodox and southpaw, perhaps more than once. He's going to be making weird feints, jukes and leprechaun hops

I don't think it's going to work . . but it's all he's got. At some point he's going to be incredibly fatigued due to lack of stamina, this opens the door for the Mayweather win by knockout . . . if Mayweather gets more aggressive here we could see him trigger a heightened sense of fighter's instinct from McGregor
