Paulie seemed really impressed with Conor in that interview done directly after the sparring session.

Paulie works directly for showtime, he is/was a haymon fighter.
For all intents and purposes he is apart of the promotion, not objective at all.

In boxing people talk shyt pubilicly and spar behind the scenes.
sparring is professional and to work on the things the boxer who is in camp.
Its not about having an actual fight, it isn't a gym war or anything like that.
