i mean, that's cool

here's the thing - mayweather took this fight about as seriously as mj does a 1 on 1 game with his son

mayweather was chilling in the most dangerous part of the ring, right in the mcgregors face. connor had to throw out of self-defense and reflex, but there wasn't a single conventional shot that hurt or threatened mayweather to the point of moving

shyt was kind of a joke, and wild disrespectful imo. at the same time, mayweather extended the fight clearly by not cutting mcgregor off, not finishing dead to rights combinations, not taking that right straight that was there for him all night, not tearing his insides up with those trash hold attempts, etc

i enjoyed the fukkery too, but the boxing fan in me was waiting for the mayweather dive instead of anything else.

Of course it was a "joke" on most fronts, no argument here

but

It's like being a movie buff. .. Sometimes you want a thespian masterpiece and sometimes you just want aliens, explosions, fukkery and shyt.

Floyd has given plenty of defensive exhibitions, not mad at him for taking a safe, fun as hell and financially rewarding shyt show. He's earned it imo

Entertaining fight..Floyd finally gave me my money's worth. McGregor held his own which surprised me, he will definitely be boxing again..could be one of the biggest and well paid in the sport.
The big money fight is Canelo or GGG, he gets destroyed by either within 5. He gets destroyed by anyone from 147-160.

Dude came off the stool ready to drop :russ: They tryin to make it seem like it was all punches. :mjlol:

I knew the ref would do the right thing. Conor was so tired he couldnt even throw a punch or protect himself. Again, he really underestimated the difference in making weight in boxing.

Lets be real tho, if not for conditioning, he may have won :beli:

second dumbest post in the thread.... you might as well have said "if not for getting punched continually in the face he may have won"

Yeah when Mayweather seemed unfazed by the counter uppercut in the first I knew Conor's power wasn't there.

Is there any reason for Conor to go back to the UFC? He's probably gonna get $100 million for this fight, that's like 30x what he made for the Diaz rematch.
Financially, there isn't. And even if he goes back, mentally, he'll never be the same as before. Dude went from welfare to maybe ending up with $50 million or so when it's all said and done (taxes, plus I'm sure Dana's in them pockets as well), fought the GOAT boxer of his time. If the UFC is going to get him back, they're going to have to back up the Brinks truck for him, which they could/should do anyway, but they're not gonna wanna open that Pandora's box because then the rest of their stable is going to be looking for that type of paper as well. With Ronda going away and Bones Jones continuously fukking up, they're gonna need Conor more than ever.

Now, if it's just his competitive side, there's plenty of unfinished business for Conor to handle in MMA.
