Mayweather's domestic violence is well documented but I think in most of the times people can make a difference between someone as an athlete and as a civil person. With Mayweather he's hated anyway from different reasons by many, I think the domestic abuse is just a plus excuse for that and fuels the flames...

Why I say this...? Many famous boxers committed domestic violence in the past and often times they are still widely popular figures.

Carlos Monzon beat his wives and mistresses to a pulp multiple times but he's a national hero in Argentina and a great fighter of his era, a HOF member.
Ray Leonard and Ray Robinson are very highly regarded, popular fighters to this day, SRR often mentioned as P4P the best ever and both of them had domestic cases.
Tyson did it too... still a rather popular figure
and there are plenty of other examples

from more recent names Arturo Gatti and Diego Corrales. Both were popular...

Times makes everything nicer it makes people forget the bad things easier, also some of these names, like Monzon, Corrales or Gatti died early so that's also a reason.

Lets not forget that Mayweather went in on Diego Corrales for his domestic violence issues:

In 2001, Mayweather fought what was then the biggest fight of his career, against the favored Diego “Chico” Corrales. Corrales, a deeply troubled but usually benevolent soul, was facing an impending jail sentence for assaulting his wife. Mayweather, always eager to get under his opponents’ skin, pounced on it. He dedicated his performance to “all the battered women in the world” and even entered the ring to music bashing violence against women.

so if people keep using the same tactics against him, it's fair game:manny:

Does anybody know who the girl is behind Floyd.

Oh my Gawd.

I'm not even impressed by IG models and video chicks anymore, but this girl is beautiful. Beautiful :mjcry:

This guy Floyd really training like a maniac for a fight that he himself knows he can end in 1 Round.. the dedication that this guy has for the money is insane. I dont even think I could train that hard for a guy that I know I can stop at any time

Kinda makes me think that for the right price he just might come back and fight the winner of GGG-Canelo at 154 despite his 'i gave al haymon my word this is my last fight' :duck:

Floyds my favorite boxer in the ring, y'all just make his name unlistenable.

Likewise, I like Mikey inside the ring, and don't care for his opinions outside of it.
