Hearing Kevin Lee do interviews and talk about this fight, good grief, dude is gonna become the only Black man in MMA that I root against and hope he loses. Dude talking about boxing already a dying sport and once McGregor does well and wins rounds off of Floyd boxing will be dead for good. I hope Ferguson slaps this nikka's ears together.

He's in love with his own voice and he'll be one of a few nikkas from Detroit that I actually detest.

We're gonna need a lil break from the word "angle" unless we're talking about Kurt after this fight.

Jesus, Kenny Florian, Brendan Schaub etc keep saying it every time they put a mic in front of them

Angles. Angles. Angles. Conor's Angles. Angles. Floyd has never seen Conor's angles. Angles.

I have never rooted against a black man in MMA but he will be the first, his c00nish behavior and annoying voice are just too much. And then there was this video.

He was pretty likeable when he first joined the UFC/Twitter, very engaged with fans, he'd live tweet events like a fan and is quite knowledgeable about the fights themselves.

But yeah dude has definitely gone way out there with the antics and schtick these days now that he's got a bit of traction going

Don't know why they spend one second asking these MMA bums for their take on boxing.

Its not, but there are ways you can use it to your advantage.

In MMA you can get a lot of rest periods in the clinch, in the guard, or in neutral positions. You also benefit from being heavier in grappling exchanges. Most guys can't cut 40lbs and keep it off so if you cut a lot at the right time, you can make weight then immediately put it back on and come in heavier for the fight.

Overall I think it has as many disadvantages than advantages, but it depends on your style on if you can maximize it. In Boxing.... I think its a detriment.

Putting good your body into extreme dehydration is horrible for your endurance.

It actually takes a long time for the water to seep back into the cells at a molecular level. A lot of the water he takes in during the rehydrating process will just get pissed out.

You also deplete your muscles of salt and glycogen stores when you dehydrate yourself. Glycogen is burned for the first ~15-20 minutes during an endurance activity and after that your body starts burning fat.

If he comes out with depleted glycogen stores then he will be slower than normal because his body doesn't have the materials it needs.
