TMNT appreciation thread (I thought we needed a thread for all things turtle related)

I can't get into the cartoony CGI or most of the silly villains.

I like this one its the one from 2004/5 ish I can't follow even though I see a few characters are on this one from that one. Maybe if I watch it in order because everytime I look around every episode like 2/3 combined and I'm lost lol

That 04/05 one was a great series, until they go to the future CTHU

The silliness of the villains at times is an issue for me but the characterization and development is so dope, plus shredder is far from silly so I feel like there's enough good to counteract for the silliness that they aim for due to the target audience

Breh you need to watch that..that series is dope. that flash forward thing was terrible but other than that, very very good series. one of my absolute favorites for any turtle iteration or comic book adaptation

There are "ways" to get that too breh..I got the whole series, fell off of a truck. Which includes the missing season 6 which they should've aired instead of the flash forward season 6. Nicktoons often marathons the series too

No stuff about the "ways" lol. I was saying that because I was watching it on nicktoons that's how I know it even existed. It don't seem to be in order that's why I said what I said. I am going to watch in order though and give it another try after y'all's recommendations

Yeah just check out a torrent site breh..that's your best bet.

That's the best one ever. A good mix of serious with funny tone.

This new one is ok but it feels a bit too immauture for me to fully get into

I don't know how far you got in the series, but I HIGHLY recommend it. As far as wit, dialogue, character quirks and character interplay is concerned, this new one is the absolute best. The only way the 03 one edges it out is depth, and that's by a real slight margin.


If you mixed that in with the story depth of the 03 version and added the tone of the 1990 movie/ current IDW comic series, you'd have an incomparable classic.
