Breh in the 03 cartoon, he mutulated baxter at every turn in the 03 cartoon. Dude was nothing but an eye by the time he was done with him.
Leo going into full batman mode once they suffered a major defeat
Shredder being nothing to F with on any level
Casey not being a psychopath
Adapting City at War
Adapting the first couple issues of the comic complete with Leo being tossed into April's and having to go to Casey's farm
The Ninja tournament
The Battle Shell
The serious writing
The comedic writing being for character and not just because they wanted to write down to kids
I could go on and on. I mean I get the love for the 87 cartoon but I prefer the 03 cartoon by a mile. It's more in line with my sensibilities when it first came on and now. I've got the 87 cartoon and tried rewatching it but it's a tough sit for me. I can get through the first season fine but after that I start picking episodes or just lame out because I'm not interested. 03 cartoon is rewatchable for me minus that fast forward where they lightened it up

Sorry breh, but this video alone is enough to put the 90s Turtles over everything else (plus my nostalgic memories of being a child with my TMNT toys, games, clothes, etc.)

LOL see right now we're reversing roles from yesterday where you'll stick up for nostalgia and I'm the one saying "nah open your eyes and look at it"...while that Casey Jones montage is pure fukery, from a writing standpoint, story standpoint, every other standpoint minus nostalgia, the 03 cartoon is doper

But there are 3 things I will always defend from a nostalgic standpoint: TMNT in the 1990s, X-Men, and No Limit Records...those 3 are untouchable to me
