That got him the Republican nominatkkn. He got the uneducated, racist, and whatever-ist people in the primaries. They were going to vote for him anyway because of the outlandish shyt he has said. He never flipped the switch to get the rest of the educated and undecided voters.

If he would have had a real strategy and kept his cool in the debates, he would have easily won.

But he had to keep the fire on to get a turnout, to get more people out of the bushes and on.

No matter what you say, you voted to not get minimum wage bump, not have health care for millions of poor black people, you voted for less well of people having a lower probability of going to college especially a good collage without being good ballers. Not to mention a weaker global economy, thereby American exports and thereby labor market and thereby for poverty in production cities heavily populated by black people.
