Nope. The Black people with the ability to help their own people are the first to run off and lapdog at the table with Whitey. It's not a liberal argument to say that a significant amount of Blacks get lower quality educations, less access to public services (parks, museums, libraries), less livable wage business in their areas, etc. That's all fact. The Blacks who made it *Jay Z* don't care about addressing those issues. Bill Gates has done more for Blacks globally than Oprah or Diddy. I'm not going to blame the dude from the hood for not knowing how to build up his community because the system had that man trapped in it's web since the day he was born and only some have other factors that offset it and make it out.
You could literally replace every instance of "black(s)" with "the poor" and it would change little. I think you guys are conflating an economic class and an ethnicity.

They are highly correlated, though. I don't think economic class and ethnicity are the same thing but in this case it's definitely statistically significant, approaching 1:1

Stop looking for a hand out. Jay Z is a F list drug dealer turned mediocre rapper, not a community leader. Stop looking for some billionaire to come save you. Stop being weak and pathetic.

The collective of black folk who work and are productive need to uplift each other, bring resources together like other ethnic communities do. Stop looking for a rich entertainer to save you. There is no "web" to be trapped in. Just lazy individuals who enjoy the sympathy perks of being a "victim".

There's a difference between wanting to be "saved" and wanting the opportunity to save *yourself*. If the 1 % hoards the wealth and aren't creating jobs for the lower classes then what? I don't care how strong and determined you are, if the resources and opportunities aren't there then you're SOL.

Where did I say Blacks shouldn't support each other? What you fail to mention is that other ethnic communities tend to immigrate over already educated and isolated in their own cultural bubble. Blacks have had their culture stripped so it's harder to corral around "community" instead of caring for self.

Making issues affecting the poor, into black issue(who are admittedly a disproportionate % of the poor) changes them, and makes them much harder to approach, and address.
You essentially change the conversation to how can we reduce the percentage of people in poverty in the nation, to how can we help black people... distorting the entire issue, and adding layers upon layers of unnecessary complexity..

In my opinion of course.

I've never associated with
WTF....i'm from the ghetto. :what: Aint no objective lenses too look at it through. It is what it is, garbage culture. Not having money is no excuse to make yourself look stupid, disrespect your women and disrespect yourself. Not having money is no excuse to not care for the property in your community. Not having money is no excuse to make multiple offspring out of wedlock and without a way to provide for them. Enough of this excuse making. This is not the environment our ancestors grew up in. We need to stop insulting them as if we are under the same jim crow and slave laws they were under. "Brainwashing" is as powerful as you let it become.
Brainwashing is something that you seem to not understand i guess... i guess when u don't understand it -- then it's difficult to understand y it doesn't snap back over night or why it's a challenge. IF one person from a hood makes a career, that =/= to every boy from that hood should be able to make it.

Not having money isn't an excuse.. BUT it's a result and a reason why the other results are difficult to even try fixing. Nobody said this is the same as jim crow. Clearly what's stated is that we are working on progress and the progress didn't start until recently.

You're talking about chicks having babies and all that shyt, that is some old age idea shyt that is the MAIN reason y we haven't made too much progress. The shyt you're talking isn't new...lol, it's actually the ONLY thing that blacks have listened to. in the 1920's is when it started.... don't do this don't do that.. I remember people used to attack kids selling drugs in the hood. like, " Don't sell drugs and BAM u fixed everything."

This limited understanding of the issues and how to fix them is something that our nations depends on to keep the economic classes the same. Limited understand is y Malcolm x was rejected back in the day and wouldnt even be popular now. All this divide and conquer shyt. "don't disrespect ur woman, have financial literacy, Those blacks over there are doing wrong and those other blacks have made money so they are doing it right "

:aicmon:Negro Please - for the last 50 years nearly 100% of the blacks who made it, haven't gave back. Nearly 100% of all people in poverty on Our entire planet aren't knowledgeable about financial literacy and family planning.

insulting our 'ancestors' FOH, how about our ancestors- in the more recent past insulted us by not giving us the mental tools and passed down ALL the WRONG info... now it's up to 30 year old brothers to fix the mistakes they made. We have the work to do that they could have done in the 60s

Those two things are completely different. A poor white person in this nation has a more difficult path to jump economic classes than a person born into the middle class - its a fact of living here so people aren't saying that that fukkery is only a black issue.

But when you have nearly 100% of a population starting Below the lowest classes only decades ago... then do you really expect the class issues and mental problems associated---- to not affect them on a larger scale???
:rudy:

The fact that we even have a black mid class is the result of Over the Top effort and suicide missions by blacks to barely make progress..... don't act like the effort hasn't been there negro.

But anyway, statements like this ^^^^ is why other posters Constantly question your blackness---- FYI when a group is dealing with classes issues...... but then also dealing with social and justice and drug war, and prision and Popular stigma issues that No other Group has to deal with ............................. then the original class issues are then compounded.
