This is why I have such of a problem with this idea that wwe is the end all be all for these wrestlers. They give Vince too much power when they feel like they haven't made it unless they go to his company or that success is impossible if they decided to leave his company.

More wrestlers need to view themselves as a commodity and realize that it's a 50/50 partnership. If wrestlers are going to sign to the wwe they need to be under the mindset that Vince ain't doing you any favors because your bringing something to the table and if you decide to leave then he's losing something.

Stop being under the mindset that Vince and the wwe makes or breaks your career and life.

U kno what dat sh1t makes me feel a certain way too. I'm 32 years old. I loved the hell out the WWE since I could remember. I always wanted to go to event when I was a kid. But I thought u had to be rich to go to any pro sport. So I never asked my mom because I knew we wasn't rich at all. As time grew I drifted away from wrestling right around when WCW folded. I would always peek at WWE every now & then from about 2002-14. I just never watched consistently at all. It's crazy I only got back into because I needed a podcast to past time at work. I came across Cheap Heat podcast late 2014. Loved the show. So it rekindled my love. Copped the network 6 months later. Just been enjoying it when everyone else complained. My love was back. That's why I'm so pissed. I just looked the other way on so much bulls1t. Now me finally going to a WWE event for the 1st time ever on 22nd this month feels so deflated in terms of my excitement. Its like why do I support this company?

I feel so stupid now :snoop:

This company will Insult your intelligence to the point you will make a decision to boycott and not watch.
I have done it numerous times.
This time when I came back I said I really won't be writing rants unless charged to do so.
So, when I first came back.
I ranted @The Real brand's list of roh greatest matches.
So, people would find a way to watch the original rohtv on directv telecast.
Which, imo was the best actual high quality wrasslin show in the history of wrasslin.
As the show and all the main events before Daniel san was raided.
Those matches were all five star me matches and great squash matches.
So, I wanted people to get into that show.
given how select the viewership would be given the lack of viewers who had directv at the time.

Now, the last rants I have in me.
Maybe the first rohtv on directv episode me matches.
Past that, it is kinda over for the breh.
as far as watching wrasslin kinda all together after aj and Aries are fully done.
As it has been fifteen years and I have not found a new favorite to re-invigorate why I would enjoy watching..plus, reading Scott Keith get the life force stolen from him ranting about a low quality WWE product, for so long.
also taught me to close the door and not let that happen to me.

I seriously wish the WWE would die and another wrestling company that actually treats their black wrestlers with respect takes it place. :yeshrug:

If WWE dies, pro wrestling in America dies. The only reason indies exist is because WWE makes it a viable profession if you can get to that level. The second its gone, wrestling is dead in America. It's been the exclusive since the 80s, even when WCW was so hot, media would still talk about wrestling as WWF. And today, wrestling/WWE are interchangeable.

And worst of all, no companies treat their black wrestlers with respect. Even WCW and TNA, companies that had black world champions, had racist angles (the Harley/Simmons promos that were used again for Booker/HHH, Truth being ganged up on by NASCAR drivers who made fun of his hair/clothes/music in front of Southern crowds cheering like crazy for it). WCW was sued for racism at one point. Even a place like PWG has some very questionable names for teams and moves with black talents. Or take the black talents to Japan and see the racism that happens. Overt, crazy ass racism.

At least WWE pays them the most, I guess.

TNA is the closest thing to that but their management is awful. ROH is another one worth watching.
Lucha Underground has Prince Puma as a top star and he's black. He was even the first ever LU Champion.
The alternatives are out there, it's up to the viewers to watch and support said alternatives though.

No it doesnt. It definitely takes a huge blow but without the constant whiny bytch practices of the McMahon family keeping other organizations down, someone will rise up. ROH prob. Wrestling in the US wouldnt die, it would just never be the same again.
