Honestly, not really. Dangerous/reckless bxs with little concern for safety of self or others is seen as a sign of suicidal ideation in every other group; for some reason it isn't in the ghetto. I've just been thinking about this sort of thing lately and I believe that mental health issues absolutely play a role. How many of those kids are experiencing crises/lack of stability/abuse/death of loved ones etc. in their home environments? Typical issues associated with the likelihood to engage in risky bxs associated with... suicidal thoughts and gestures.

I've been clinically depressed and still acted like everything was cool becuase I didn't want people to see me slippin. I know where he is coming from, but tomorrow is always a new day and there is always help if you allow yourself to look for it.

Football players get paid an absorbitant amount to do what they do, there is risks that come with that paycheck. I hope they make the sport safer in the future, but not every single suicide is related to head trauma.
It's foolish to just jump to the conclusion that there are no players depressed with their life just because of personal issues, no "they're dropping like flies" as you so sensationally put it.

They are dropping like flies and every player that has committed suicide and had their brain examined had real brain damage. Those are the facts.

still doesn't change the ratio in which the suicides are actually commited by.

regardless this is a stupid argument. Who cares if someone is black or white, suicide is still a problem that needs to be addressed.
