How is this even remotely possible when more than likely anybody with a relatively new rig or even one from the last year or so can run the game in 1080p/60fps without any problems?

Read the story in the op. they used a computer with a stronger CPU and GPU and they still had frame drops.
What's in your computer?
Are you getting a flawless 60fps on high settings with insane textures?
You can't spin this, no matter how hard you try this game is in the PC domain and we got documents on it now doggie.
People with 560Ti's to HD 7770-7790s are running this game in 1080P and hitting similar frames as the XB1 with 4x AA. You said to check the Neogaf thread, word? Somebody with a 560 is running the game in 1200p and getting 50-60fps with drops to 30, which is similar to the XB1, except for the fact it's running it in 1200p
The XB1 isn't "high" settings or insane textures
Most people can run this game @ 1080p with Medium settings and 2x AA which would be the equivalent of the X1 version.

As I said stronger machine. Similar if not worse performace.
Bruh EA has been coppin' pleas since late summer of last year, talking about how they is an agnostic publisher & they not in bed with Microsoft, They have a good relationship with Sony, & how they gone gonna make up to Sony:If EA is serious about making it up to Sony & being balanced, we need to see 3 PlayStaion exclusives from EA. 1 PSN exclusive to make up for "Peggle 2", 1 exclusive $40 retail game to make up for "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare", and 1 exclusive full $60 AAA game to make up for "Titanfall" (I think "Star Wars: Battlefront" would be fair).
And let's not forget about all the Exclusive features, DLC, & marketing EA gave Microsoft for BF4, Madden NFL 25, & FIFA 14.

Meach really needs to face at how gimped the xbox one really is when it comes to gaming. When I heard titanfall was running at 792 based off source on a system that is x86 based...I knew the GPU had to be the culprit. What is an APU on the market equivalent to the xbox one? The new high end Kaveri? We should be looking at those for comparisons not people with full dedicated nvidia or AMD gpus IMO.
the xboxone IS APU based and it's been proven time and time again that the AMD architecture is aimed towards mid-level performance. The PS4 having what I keep hearing a 7850 is the biggest difference as I said it would. The CPU and RAM are almost always secondary when playing games.
You had cats on here argue with me that the CPU is just as important if not MORE important than the GPU in gaming and my observations when the Xbox/PS4 specs were released are holding true.
PS4 advantage is clearly in the games due to the better GPU and GDDR5 RAM.
The XBOX ONE advantage should be with multimedia/tv applications as I assume the DDR3 ram in there is running at super low latency and from what I remember it's CPU clocked a little higher.
None of this shyt should come at a surprise and Meach who has a gaming PC SHOULD know this, but refuses to accept the fact that on paper the xbox one looks like a nice htpc that can play games. The PS4 is a gaming machine that can do some media. Arguing these facts makes anyone look like a dumbass time and time again.

Stronger machine? A 560ti is 3 years old and a few generations behind the GPU in the XB1
I haven't tried running the game on insane textures.
But I haven't had any frame drops at 1080 with everything on High or Medium, at 2XAA. I haven't even tweaked anything, but I wasn't trying to run everything maxed out because I was streaming the game as well and didn't want the stream/game to lag.

GPU = 7850 2GB
Memory = 8GB RAM
